The staff was very friendly and attentive. We did see 2 small cockroaches on the 1st night of our visit, but none after, never went to the desk about it because, well, it was a $60 room in sandusky, i wasnt too surprised. Overall, very convenient location as we were only staying for Cedar Point, ended up trained out a couple days ago would have appreciated an inside pool or hot tub, never went in the outside pool. Got the job done and not horrible.

My boyfriend and I drove 10 hours from Massachusetts to Ohio for a Cedar Point trip, and staying at the Super 8 by Wyndham Sandusky made our experience so much better! The AC in the room was amazing—especially after long, hot days at the park—and the free breakfast was such a convenient and appreciated bonus before heading out each morning. What really stood out was how affordable it was compared to other places in the area. Last year, we stayed next door at Cedar Cove, and while that was okay, we’d absolutely choose the Super 8 again without hesitation. The quality and value here can’t be beat. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Cedar Point or looking for a clean, comfortable, and budget-friendly stay!

All the staff was amazing, It was clean, showers hot, AC cold, pool was very clean and warm. It was only 7 minutes from cedar point which was perfect. While at CP it started raining and rides shut down. Went back to the hotel and chilled for 2hours then back to CP. it was so convenient. Right across the street was an amazing bowling alley, arcade, lazed tag, sports bar and food. The staff was beyond welcoming. This is where we will stay from now on. Another perk was the fresh popcorn and cookies every night and the breakfast every morning, all included in the room fee.

The water in the shower wouldnt turn all the way off. The outlet by the bed didnt have a cover and the outside door didnt even seal all the way. It was outdated and the bathroon was super small. The area outside the shower was smaller than the shower itself. Also very noisy most of the night.

I stayed here for one night during a trip to Cedar Point. It’s a budget-friendly hotel—nothing fancy, but it’s clean, convenient, and just a 10-minute drive from the park, which is perfect for a short stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and although breakfast didn’t offer a lot of variety, it was enough to get the day started. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which barely worked in my room. It seemed to only work reliably near the front desk, which was inconvenient. Overall, it’s a solid option if you’re just looking for a place to sleep after a day at the park. Great location and good value for the price.

My family just needed a place to sleep for the night and for the price we couldn't pass it up. We were worried but it was perfect for the price. We were pleasantly welcomed by the staff. They had fresh baked cookies and milk, as well as popcorn and pop for families. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean. The area seems a little sketchy but we felt safe -- could just be an area in need of improvement. The room was clean, with no funny smells, and the beds were clean/bug free.

There really wasnt much that was unique about the property. It does have a good proximity to Cedar Point amusement park but that is about it. For the most part it was clean. They do need to do a better job on who they rent rooms to. I had two incidents within 30 minutes of eachother where the tenants above me either flooded their bath tub or clogged there toilet and the water came down into my bathroom. The clogged toilet incident dropped poo water down into our room and it smelled awful. Thankfully we were not in the bathroom when that happened. I was however in the bathroom when the overflowing tub dropped dowm through the bathroom vent fan onto me. Not fun! In each incident it was from teenagers who seemed to have zero adult supervision. Had to move rooms twice. I am supposedly receiving some kind of refund but was never told how long that would take. We shall see if that happens. I do give the staff credit for at least getting me into a different room each time but the experience left a lot to be desired.
