Booked late for traveling on my birthday ( July 4th) so I wasn't expecting much. However upon entering our room ( 121) the hot tub wasn't cleaned ( hair, black stuff) toilet was clean at first glance but dirty under the bowl. I bought bleach & cleaned everything myself but when I brought it up to the front desk, she had some attitude about cleaning it after we left the room. Should have been done beforehand we got there, but I cleaned it nonetheless. The safe didn't work. She mentioned most of them don't. The doors in the back don't lock so anyone can just walk right in. There was a group of guys walking around testing door handles. Typical druggies hanging out in the back at midnight when we stepped out to smoke. There was also a breakfast sausage UNDER our mattress. We didn't even eat the breakfast there so Lord knows how long it's been there. We mentioned it to housekeeping. The WiFi would disconnect often so you'd have to reconnect. Besides all of that .. most of the staff were very nice, mainly the guy working nights and housekeeping. The bed was soft and the pool area was pretty clean. Actually, most of the hotel itself is clean except the rooms ( I'm not sure about every room I'd imagine they're like ours) Overall, next year when we come to lake Erie ( we usually stay in a cabin) we'll book way ahead. Decent place to have a roof over your head if you need a place to sleep. But, it's a never again for us

We checked in late after a very long drive. When we went up to the room, I tried to get into the door twice and it seemed like the deadbolt was on and we were given a room that was already occupied. I went down to the front desk and told them and the staff member laughed and said ha whoops try this room instead. The rooms are spacious but the beds are not comfortable. Strong smell of weed in the halls and stairwells. Pool was nice and there was a good selection of options at breakfast.

Barking

There was a small dog across from our room that continuously barked. I brought the issue up at the front desk so that they were made aware of the situation. Nothing was done about it. The walls are thin. You can hear people talking in the rooms beside you the barking across the hall kept us up at night. People were smoking in their rooms down the hall, the entire hallway and the rooms were filled with the smoke.
