Dangerously awful

Dangerous & unsafe. Walls were torn apart Paint was cracking Door lock did not work Tub looked disgusting + paint was peeling Pillow cases dirty Odd smell. My boyfriend & I found this scary note in our room. We felt so unsafe, we switched hotels immediately

The room was fine for what we paid for. Biggest complaint was that the room smelt like marijuana and was very strong. We attempted to switch rooms but the property told us there were no rooms available to switch to. The staff was friendly however and attempted to accommodate with some spray, but the smell was overpowering.

This property was fairly priced for its proximity to Cedar Point. The room itself was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was good (for a freebie) and the staff was exceptionally nice. The building itself is really showing its age, but inside the room, there was no difference between this and Cedar Point Express EXCEPT ... the TV did not work. We asked a few times and the staff tried very hard to fix it, visiting our room multiple times, but could not get it to work in the 3 nights we were there. It had something to do with the cable box. I do not blame the staff as they were incredibly nice and definitely tried to resolve the problem. But we did miss having a TV after a long day in the park. I hope they are able to solve it for the next guests. Otherwise, the experience was fine. I felt a lot better about my stay than if I had paid surge prices elsewhere. The homemade cookies at the front desk were a nice touch too.

You could smell the weed from the front office before you got to the building.The room itself was clean,but the carpet felt nasty,would recommend wearing shoes.When I tried to gwt ahold of the office about wifi it just rang and rang and went and stood in the office looking for clerk and after about 5 minutes he come from the back office.I would not recommend this place,find so.ething better in town only good thing was it was close to Cedar Point.
