Rocco and his father Enzo were polite and responsive hosts. We had a very nice stay at this home. Traveling with my husband, both sets of grandparents and our young children - the room setup with each having its own bathroom worked well for the group. The common place and kitchen were well equipped to cook. The home is walking distance into the little town of San Valentino. We found the locals at the Gelateria to be welcoming and pleasant and the gelato impressively delicious! A safe area. The pool was not open during our stay as it was October and closed for the season. The views from the home were beautiful of the Abruzzi mountains!

Best country home in Abruzzo

This home was so beautiful. The views from the back yard are second to none. The home was equipped with everything you need from a fully equipped kitchen to 3 full size bedrooms and bathrooms. We loved the access to the back yard and swimming pool. I honestly could not pick one thing wrong with this home. It was absolutely perfect in every way. Also, the host was attentive and responsive to every question we had. Do not hesitate to book this home for your stay. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Clean house in a great location

Great area, super friendly host. Very easy check-in process.The listing should be clear that you don't have access to the entire property, just the first floor. There are residents in the top floor. The configuration is pretty private but you do not have access to the balcony. We also had some issues with the heater in one of the rooms and you end up paying separately for heat (gas), which is odd. The Home was clean and beds are comfortable. The nearby town is charming

Relaxing country house

We enjoyed our stay in the pretty little town of San Valentino, and a large part was because of this house, which is nicely set up, quiet, has a pretty view of the nearby valley, and is just a few minutes away from the restaurants and bars in town. Rocco was very accommodating and saw to our every need. San Valentino was a very convenient central point that allowed us quick access to the surrounding towns.

We shared this home with our friends and loved everything about it. Spacious with large bedrooms overlooking the mountains. The location was central to many sights including the National parks of the Abruzzo. The village had good amenities and a great coffee shop near the supermarket. Enzo was a helpful host and we would highly recommend this home.

Upon arrival there was no welcome amenities as is customary in all the other villa’s I have rented from two different suppliers. The wifi was poor at best and was none existent in the bedrooms and mediocre in the living area. I mentioned it to the owner and he did nothing about it. Cell service in that area is also a problem and should be noted in the discription of the property. There was also no changing of towels or bed sheets in the two weeks we were there. This should be addressed with the owner.

Would definitely recommend this place. The house is so clean & well looked after. Seems like everything has been thought of to make our stay so good. It was great to be able to drink the water from the tap, which saved carrying lots of bottles of water from the supermarket. Showers worked well, with plenty of hot water. Much needed fans in the bedroom to keep us cool during the night. Although the family lived upstairs they never intruded. The house was ideal for our 2 yrs old, & he was able to run around in the garden without coming to any harm. The pool was also kept very clean, although deep. San Valentino is within walking distance & our 2 yrs old loved the Dinosaurs in the museum, along with the Gelato in the town. Although not a lot of English is spoken we found everyone very friendly & helpful. The local supermarket has most items required but does close for riposo (siesta) but there is one open all day in Scafa, which is not far away. We loved watching a typical Italian town. Beautiful views to wake up to each morning, we couldn't have asked for more for a very relaxing holiday.Thank for allowing our family to stay in your lovely place, we would have loved to stay longer & sorry I never saw you before we left to thank you personally. EXCELLENT.

Fijn huis, van alle gemakken voorzien. Groot privé zwembad. Rocco is een fijne gastheer die snel reageert op vragen. Voor ons was het de eerste keer in de Abruzzen maar zeker niet de laatste keer.

Beautiful and peaceful property

Our stay at Rocco's house has been a wonderful experience. There were three large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Everything was very clean, including the pool. Rocco was very friendly and helpful.

Nice house with fantastic pool

Ein tolles Haus mit einem sensationellen Ausblick auf die Berge. Ruhige Lage und genug Platz für 8 Personen. Großer Garten mit genügend Schatten vorhanden. Der Pool war 15 m bei 1,5- 2,5 m Tiefe und immer sauber.Die Vermieter sehr zuvorkommend und kümmern sich jeden Tag liebevoll um den Pool und den Garten. Für jegliche Fragen und Tipps waren Sie offen und hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung bietet viele Ausflugsziele an, sowohl in die Berge als auch an die Strände. Im Umkreis von einer Stunde Fahrzeit haben wir viele Ausflüge gemacht. Sensationelle Landschaft und leere Strände sehr empfehlenswert. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Fam. Schröder

Ho soggiornato in questa villa fantastica insieme a due coppie di amici,la casa è dotata di ogni confort ma la cosa più interessante è stata trovarla pulitissima! La proprietà è completamente recintata soprattutto nella parte della piscina(avendo due bambini piccoli trovo questo dettaglio fondamentale). Le camere sono ampie e confortevoli dotate di bagno privato. L'arredamento è nuovo ed in cucina c'è ogni utensile e la lavastoviglie! Fuori vi è un giardino molto curato con barbecue,tavolo da ping pong e lavatrice. La posizione è strategica in quanto difronte vi è un boschetto con area picnic e giochi per bambini e vicina ad altre attrazioni(supermercati e attività commerciali a due minuti di macchina). Il proprietario si è dimostrato gentile e disponibile. Torneremo in questo posto meraviglioso sicuramente!
