The room was clean but small. There was no coffee maker in the room or refrigerator (which I need for my medication). The staff was courteous and friendly and did their best to accommodate our needs. However, I won’t stay there again mainly because of the small room and lack of amenities.

There for 2 nights on a wine trip. We usually stay at a different hotel, but they were booked. PLUS side— A “newly remodeled” feel. Excellent location next to the Sea Chest restaurant and across from the beach boardwalk. Super continental breakfast with yummy breakfast breads, fruit, oatmeal, and orange juice. Very nice hotel staff and a complimentary artsy area map with hikes and other things to do around Cambria. Nice large lobby with fireplace and ocean view. Large glassed in viewing/lounging deck for all to enjoy. NEGATIVE side — Small, small rooms. Must ask for a fridge. Only 1 chair in the room, no small table for cards or eating. Faucets in the bathroom coming directly out of drywall, no backsplash (unfinished?). Hotel has only one large family room/house to book that has a direct ocean view.

The place was cute. Expensive for all of the handles on the bathroom sink and shower falling off. Needs some updating on plumbing, but the room was more updated and clean. Limited dining from 3-5 most restaurants in the area close. Parking was very tight if you have a larger vechicle.

Cozy, modern California decor with great ambience throughout the facility. Excellent staff. Healthy, quality complementary breakfast gives you a good start for the day. Their coffee is even better than a local cafe.

Front desk staff were friendly and professional. Even though we arrived approximately 15 minutes early, our room was ready! The room appeared to have been recently painted and updated. Location is great and the property is quiet and peaceful. Will most likely stay here again in the future.

We liked the location as we were directly across from the beach and walking path. We enjoyed daily breakfast on the patio overlooking the beautiful view. We were only passing through but loved the stay so much we decided to return and book another night. The staff were friendly and offered dining suggestions, but it was tough finding a place to have dinner. However we took a 5 minute drive to downtown where we enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Sows Ear. We walked daily and interacted with other guests. This was a pleasant visit and we plan to return for another stay.
