In the valley of the Miera, surrounded by mountains and unspoilt nature is the rural hut 'Los Pradones'. Formerly a refuge for cattle and shepherds, it was renovated following the tradition and style of the pasiegas cabins, in stone and wood, to welcome those who need to stay in a place with a special charm, love nature and need a time to relax and unwind.
The Pradones is a typically pasiega cabin of two plants, with capacity for four people and admits animals.
It has two bathrooms, two bedrooms and living room with kitchen. The land is 16000 m2 and a stream runs through its interior. It offers stunning views of the Miera Valley, and is located 10 minutes from San Roque de Riomiera.
The house is equipped with ceramic hob, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, and TV. The room has a fireplace (firewood included).
The decoration and furniture is mostly made up of restored antiques and unique pieces of craftsmanship.
For the property it is possible to see the cattle of the local farms grazing in freedom.
In the area we can enjoy the typical pasiegos villages, tracks for walking and cycling, caves, areas with snow in winter (portillo de Lunada 15 km), beaches at 35Km. Santander at 45 Km.
