We stayed at the Caye Hotel - SP for four nights (sun-thurs) in March 2026. The rooms were clean, beds firm but comfortable. The staff was very helpful with recommendations of things to do, places to eat. Staff also offered to set up our snorkeling tour, golf cart rental, and water taxi tickets. They offered us water bottles and refilled our waters. They had small coolers and ice to be used for our day trips and towels for our beach outings. Their beach area was also shared with the restaurant/bar, so although there are places to sit its table & chairs type situation. You can find other beach and pool areas to use outside the hotel. The restaurant/bar had music Sunday night until 10pm, which was a little loud in our room but we were tired and still able to fall asleep. Where our room was located we could see the ocean out the window but I would not say we had an “ocean view” room. The location was great, walking distance to a lot of the restaurants and we walked from the airport. There was a snorkeling company right out front of the hotel which was very convenient. Overall great stay and I would stay here again.

The hotel was about a 5 min walk from the SPR airport so we opted to skip day 1 of the golf cart rental and walked to the hotel. The hotel is about a 3 minute walk to the park and San Pedro sign where my daughter convinced us to bring her to play each day. The photo provided of the room accurately depicted our room. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful to our needs. The manager (Melanie) went above and beyond to help us with securing tours and recommendations for our outings and she never missed! The location was ideal as it’s located right downtown, walking distance to everything we needed. We found parking on the street along the front for when we didn’t need to use our golf carts. The beach view was beautiful waking up to every morning. It’s a great hotel if you have a lot of activities planned and don’t plan to spend much of your time there outside of sleeping. They don’t have fridges or coffee makers however they provide coolers to keep in your room to your items cool. I would recommend travelling with a travel kettle or there’s coffee shops to choose from across the street.

The room was very clean. It was a bit small, but had everythinng I needed. The shower had decent water pressure. Desk staff were very helpful. No fridge or coffee maker in room, but a communal fridge in the hall.

The ocean actually isn’t visible, but the hotel itself makes up for it. It was very quiet considering it was right in the middle of the Vaseline San Pedro town. The rooms were absolutely adorable and very clean with nice hot water. The staff was funny and helpful and very kind. This is such a great hotel for the value. I would stay here 100% again.

This hotel was awesome! The people at the front desk were amazing and so great about holding our bags before and after check in and were helpful with tips of places to eat and things to do. I recommend this place for anyone looking to have an amazing time in Belize. I would have given it a five star if, I didn’t have trouble with the hot water in the shower the first night I was there. The hotel is clean, affordable and provides hotel amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, bottled water etc. which was great. It is a very safe place with security. Everything is nearby, which was convenient, as I was not good with directions 😂. The best part was the spectacular view my room offered me everyday!! I wish they had chairs in the balcony but that’s just me nitpicking. The staff is what makes the hotel unforgettable. I went to Belize as a solo traveler, to heal my heart and soul. To begin I was greeted by Jordana at the front desk. Her kind hospitality made me feel welcomed. I was impressed with Mel, the manager and Florette the housemaid because they surprised me for my birthday with a towel cake in my room. Making my special day even more special. It’s the little things that made this hotel special. Edward my night in shining armor helped me every day with getting to places as I always got lost, he even drew me a map so I would know where I would be going. 😂 I can’t wait to return!!
