Marco, Miguel, and the gang take very good care of the property and make sure the experience is a good one for every guest. It’s a smaller hotel than some other local ones, but this makes it quite quiet and peaceful and an escape from the hustle and bustle of all the cars and people headed in or out of downtown San Pedro. I would be happy to stay there anytime!

The Foresta de Atacama is a beautifully designed small inn about a third of a mile walk from the center of town. With only 7 rooms, the staff gave us great attention, cooking eggs for breakfast and making a box lunch for one of our hiking days, and helping us in small other ways.

One staff spoke English & very helpful in arranging tours & taxi. Another communicated by Google translate. At the end of my stay the first one was let go but he still helped. The place is excellent but a bit far from all dining options. Best for people with a car.

Perfect for the economy traveler

This hotel is perfect for the economy traveler who needs a clean, quiet, confortable environment with a good breakfast, bed and shower, and very close to town. Juan Carlos is only a WhatsApp text message away, and Marco is his gracious assistant on the grounds. The ambience is very quiet and peaceful but very sparse and basic.

Location and staff were amazing. They were all attentive, helpful and kind. The property is very serene and breakfast was great. The room itself didn’t have AC and also doesn’t have insulation, so you are able to hear outside noises. Towels did have an unpleasant odour. Nonetheless, I would stay here again. I really enjoyed my stay.

We stayed here for just 1 night but very early check-in (06.00am), staff are very helpful and prompt response to our questions during booking and requested. During our stay Jimmy and Alex again very helpful recommend places to go where to eat including transportation assist. Room are clean, BF great, easy to go around Hanoi, we have 0 complaint about this hotel. After we left, we forgot some money in hotel safe box, once again staff very helpful transferred money back to our account. Highly recommend, 5 Star with big thank you from us. We will back there for sure.

Rodrigo, the hotel manager is extremely helpful, kind, respectful and responsive to guests requests. I have nothing but good things to say about Rodrigo, his staff and the hotel in general. I love the dogs and cats he has adopted. It makes the place feel warm.

Great stay in San Pedro

My wife and I stayed here for four nights. The lodge is in a quiet location about a 10 minute walk to the msin Street. The room was nicely decorated with great views ,a comfortable bed and a good sized en-suite. Hearing was via a gas heater supplied in the room . The owner is a really nice guy who organised packed meals for us when we left early in the morning on our tours. We also had breakfast at the lodge and found this to be great as well. The only negative we could say was that the walls are thin and you can hear the conversations in the room next door. Apart from this we really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again .

Good but poor noise insulation

Nice room and place, but as some have commented on very poor sound proofing. I was woken up both mornings by the sound of walking and talking upstairs at 4:30am. Presumably guests going on early morning tours

San Pedro delight.

Absolutely loved this hotel! 4 over 60's, lovely breakfast, Rodrigo is an absolute gem and was so kind to all his guests. Great to sit outside with that beautiful snow capped vista, cherished moments.

Very pretty small hotel on edge of town, easy 10-15 minute walk/stroll to the Main Street. Fab views at the back of volcanoes and snow topped mountains. Charming and helpful staff. We loved it

Nossa estadia foi incrível. Vimos alguns comentários negativos a respeito deste hotel mas para nós foi muito bom. Os funcionários são super simpáticos e solicitos. O lugar é lindo e limpinho, o café da manhã é muito bom e inclusive eles preparam seu café da manhã pra viagem caso vocês saia muito cedo para os passeios. Não achei o acesso ao hotel difícil, estávamos de carro e não tivemos nenhum problema, é perto do centro. A única coisa que tivemos problemas foi na regulagem do aquecedor, mas mesmo assim, nada que interferiu em nosso conforto. Voltaria mil vezes.

Excelente local...

A estadia foi ótima. Os anfitriões sempre muito educados e prestativos. Tivemos flexibilidade no check-in. Sempre faziam nosso kit lanche para os passeios. O local tem uma arquitetura muito orgânica e autêntica. Muito próximo ao centro de São Pedro de Atacama. Adoramos!

Adoramos o local, camas confortáveis, atendimento excepcional, equipe muito atenciosa, nos sentimos como na nossa própria casa. Bom café da manhã, equipe prepara um lanche quando a saída para o passeio for antes do horario do café. Localizado próximo do centro, bares e restaurantes acessíveis a pé. Super recomendo!
