The hotel is beautiful - with lovely gardens and a courtyard. Our rooms were also lovely with cozy seating areas, fireplaces and large bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious as well. I cannot say enough about the service of the front desk, wait staff and cleaning people. They thoughtfully took care of all our requests - lighting fires in our room, dinner reservations, arranging drivers for day trips etc etc. we would highly recommend. The location is also perfect for a stay in San Migual de Allende.

The location is perfect and the hotel is beautiful, but what makes this hotel special is the staff, they are friendly and knowledgeable, if you need a reservation ask for Lulu, she got the best recommendations for dinner and breakfast.

Tranquil haven in the middle of San Miguel.

Beautiful clean room and peaceful and serene surroundings with helpful staff. We really enjoyed our breakfasts/lunch there each day and location was perfect opposite the beautiful park!

This was such a gem. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The property is gorgeous and well maintained. It is just far enough from the downtown core to feel like you're in a secluded paradise.

The hotel is beautiful,very well maintained, with a lovely garden. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have a romantic atmosphere. The staff was kind and attentive throughout our stay. Unfortunately, after we left, we received a call from the front desk asking whether we had taken the bathrobes from the room. I was surprised, as there were no bathrobes in our room during our stay. I explained this to the person who called and mentioned that the same staff member who had walked us to our room upon arrival and helped us with our departure had shown us everything in the room, and there were definitely no robes. I asked her to look into the matter and clarify it. However, we never heard back. We followed up with another call to request confirmation that the issue had been resolved. The front desk staff said that she was not aware of this issue, but promised to investigate and call us back. Unfortunately, that follow-up never came either. This incident left us with a very uncomfortable impression. It seems the hotel does not have a reliable system for tracking what is present in each room. We stayed two nights, and our room was cleaned once, an ideal opportunity for staff to notice there were no bathrobes, which could have prevented this misunderstanding entirely. Instead of receiving an apology for their error, we were left with silence and no confirmation that the matter had been cleared. Being indirectly accused of taking hotel property was deeply disappointing.

Wonderful Lodging in the Heart of San Miguel

Our stay was wonderful! The front desk supported us in ordering taxis, and giving us information. They always had a smile for us. The restaurant staff were kind and thoughtful, including bringing us coffee to our rooms in the early morning. The food was excellent! The rooms were kept very clean and tidy. The property is very beautiful and aesthetically appealing with its central courtyard and fountain. The gardens are lush and well maintained, and offer a haven from the busy outside world. This property is a hidden gem right in the center of San Miguel de Allende!
