We stayed at Casa Nare for 4 nights in 2 rooms. My son and I were in Room 4 and we were generally okay with the room as the temperature was okay However my wife and daughter were in room 2 and the temperature was consistently unbearably hot. My wife complained repeatedly and the staff told her the air cooler machine would eventually cool off the room, which it never did. They spent 2 nights without sleep until I finally went to the front desk and said my wife can’t stay here and we were going to move to another hotel. After repeated complaints and only after I threatened to leave, the attendant then offered her another room #6 which was better. The room change should have been offered immediately rather than waiting for 2 nights. The breakfast was good but should have offered more variety than egg dishes every morning.

It is a lovely little hotel run by people who care about details. English books to read, facecloths, hotel built around a large tree, plants everywhere, Mexican sink in bathroom, extremely helpful staff. Kitchenette with Nespresso maker and dishes, fridge etc and chairs/ table to sit in and look out. Rooftop. Room for everything. Bathroom skylight. We stayed in a deluxe room and it was that. Only downside was a dog nearby who barked all night! Recommend this hotel.

It is a beautiful property convenient to the art district and the historic center of town. Breakfast was special in that you made a reservation and Adrian would pose two excellent options. The staff was amazing and a special thanks to Adrian for all of his help. My flight from Houston was late so I did not arrive until midnight and Adrian had the lights on and a warm welcome. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, helpful. The place is away from the noise of the plaza and yet walkable to different places. We enjoyed the sit down breakfast. Our room was cleaned daily. Our room was in the second floor. Unbeknownst to us, our movements were easily heard by the people downstairs - the floor is made of tiles .

The property is first class super clean classy and comfortable. Adrian the manager is a gem always smiling and ever sooo helpful. I would return to Nare in heartbeat!
