I stayed in the older section (the 2-story). Management needs to upgrade the carpeting, room furniture, and surroundings. It looked, smelled, and felt run-down. The staff and surpervisor were great!

Bottom line is, the hotel will not be my first choice when I return but I encourage you to give it a chance. Here are my thoughts… The good: Every staff member I spoke with throughout my stay was so very kind and helpful. The dining experience in the restaurant was wonderful. I’ve had the salmon, risotto and onion soup which was so good that I had it twice. The hotel is walking distance to several restaurants and a quick drive to the freeway. The not so good: The hotel corridors and my room smelled like an old attic, and to add to that, the bathroom seemed to emit a slight odor of sewage. I had to leave all the windows open throughout the day. My coffee maker went wacky after a couple of cups and I requested another one but that never happened. The first time I used my shower there must have been air in the pipes because a loud and startling noise came from it; not just for a few minutes, but for the duration of my shower. This was at 5 am so I’m sure the other guests loved it.

One Night Stay for AAU Basketball Tourney

Plenty of parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and clean. Everything worked fine. Restaurant and bar on site. Overall great stay.

It has so much potential. I’ve worked in preserving historical buildings and the upkeep. They really need to upkeep. There’s no reason paint can’t be touched up or gashes is doors repaired or replaced. Furniture to be shampooed and carpet replacement in areas of just vacuum and cleaned appropriately. I was excited to stay a few days for work but very disappointed. Suite was large but very old and smelly. Furniture dirty and you could see it clearly. No microwave.. only if requested. I requested and it was never brought over.
