Welcome to our brand-new 2025 listing, perfectly located in the heart of Old San Juan on vibrant Fortaleza Street—just 3 blocks down from the governor’s mansion.

This third-floor apartment is located in a 165 year old historic building. It offers all the modern conveniences you need for a comfortable stay, including freshly prepared beds with luxury sheets and plush pillows. For your enjoyment there is a 75” Samsung Frame television , so you can watch tv or put your favorite art work. There is a record player, to listen to your favorite music. We have air conditioning in both bedrooms and living room. Plus ceiling fans.

Your apartment is located on the third floor. Be aware there is no elevator, as is customary in Old San Juan, so the apartment is accessible by two flights of stairs.

Step outside and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of Fortaleza Street. You’ll be just a short 4-minute walk from Plaza de Armas, the local supermarket, and Plaza Colón. San Sebastián Street, the hub of the famous festival, is only five minutes casual walk away. For history buffs, we’re located on the same cobblestone street down 3 blocks from the Governor’s Mansion. This was a beautiful, very clean apartment right in OSJ. Walking distance to everything, including a parking garage near the port. Two large bedrooms with 3 comfortable beds and two good-sized modern baths with plenty of hot water. Kitchen was adequate and clean, although it did not have a coffee maker that I could figure out. But a place to get coffee was right on the corner. Nice balcony/deck overlooking Forteleza St. Inside was air conditioned and very quiet, so no trouble sleeping. We (older retired couple) stayed two nights with our son, DIL, and 2 and 4 year old grandchildren. Everyone loved it and would return and recommend. Just be aware there are rather steep stairways and no elevator to reach the third floor.

Old San Juan Penthouse...

This place was well maintained and in a great location for getting around within Old San Juan. While street noise is apparent in the common living area, it does not exist in either bedroom. Owner was communicative leading up to arrival and provided easy access to the property. Didn't realize we had a TV until one of the picture frames changed. Did not have a car so cannot comment on parkability if renting a car.

Great spot to see Old San Juan

This was a great spot for our family (3 adults and one 4 year old) while we stayed in Old San Juan. The location made it very walkable for several tourist destinations in the city. The check in was easy and the host communication with us quickly.
