Our room had a leak in ceiling of our Villa. Mind you this was an upgraded room. The ceiling was peeling and dropping debre on the ground. During the night I woke up to a wet floor. We were very disappointed. They moved us the next morning to another room and that was was 100% better. We liked the hotel, but the casino was closed and many of the shops and restaurants on site were closed.

1/5 Very unprofessional and disappointing experience. I arrived at 2pm to check in and was told I might get in early, and that I would receive a text when the room was ready. By 4:08pm (the official check-in time), I still hadn’t heard anything, so I called the hotel. The staff member who answered said my room wasn’t ready, didn’t know when it would be, and just told me I would get a text. At 5pm, I went to the hotel myself and was told my original room didn’t meet standards and they would give me another. When I asked why no one had called to let me know, the front desk clerk just shrugged. No communication, no professionalism, and no accounta

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Probably was at some point in the past but not anymore. We stayed on the 3rd floor of the villa property facing the pool. The room needed a major makeover. Table in the room only had one chair, the seam on the ottoman was busted open on the side, carpet was extremely dirty (we had to put towels down to walk on it), bathroom had cracked tiles in multiple spots, TV stand had a chip in the front, the light on the headboard didn't work, furniture needed to be wiped down of all the dust. The room generally had a dirty/icky feel to it and had been totally neglected for a while. On a good note, the staff were very nice and accommodating. Would not return to this property. Can't wait for the Ritz Carlton to reopen.

Este Hotel es hermoso! Fui al concierto de Bad Bunny pero noe quize ir de Puerto Rico sin quedarme aqui. Lastimosamente solo me quede una. Cosa que me arrepiento! Lo recomiendo 10000% pero eso si, quedarse maa dias para disfrutar todo loq tienen.

The hotel is beautiful, but some of the staff are quite rude and lack professionalism. For instance, the server at Banyan Tree Grill was terrible. He was unprofessional and rude, he was making rude comments of me in Spanish to his coworkers as if I wouldn’t understand what he was saying right in front of me.

The room was so dirty and old and smelled like humidity. The hallways also looked very run down not what I expected from a fairmont or an iconic hotel like this one.
