Arrived late at night at the airport but hotel shuttle was there! Easy ride to hotel, quick check in. Good room, good food selection at breakfast - even whole fresh coconuts.

Wo close to the airport and our rental car company was across the parking lot. The beds are very comfy and the rooms clean. Breakfast is busy but great.The staff is very hospitable and helpful!

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express by SJO in Costa Rica and had such a wonderful experience. The beds were unbelievably comfortable — truly some of the best I’ve ever slept on. While the rooms are a bit small, they’re spotless and thoughtfully laid out. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a refreshing break in the sun. The true highlight, though, was the breakfast experience — and I say “experience” because it was so much more than just a meal. Raul, the chef, came out to greet each guest with a huge smile and made everyone feel so welcome. The fruit selection included exotic options we weren’t familiar with, and Raul came over to show us how to eat them, turning it into a fun, interactive moment. He even made a banana sculpture that looked like a dolphin — such a sweet and unexpected touch! And the fresh coconut water? What a treat! This level of hospitality is rare and really elevated our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Costa Rica. It’s clean, comfortable, and filled with heart.

Great airport hotel option in San Jose..comfortable beds, quiet so you get a good nights sleep before early travel…and the staff continues to be the best part! From the shuttle driver to the amazing receptionist to the great employee in the gift shop…all smiles and extremely helpful..great experience!

Well positioned property, by the side of the airport, with a free shuttle. Rooms are spacious and clean with a good pool. All members of staff were courteous and attentive. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a lot of local food and exceptional service. Special mention must be made of Raul who was jovial as well as efficient and made us feel as if we were long-lost friends. When I contacted reception to find a place to glue back the sole of one of my shoes which had come off, she rang maintenance and the gentleman who responded offered to do it for me, which he did in a couple of hours. This is what I call exceptional service! Having an Alsama Tours desk was a bonus, the ever efficient Jolene arranging a number of excellent tours for us.
