Drift is my go to place to stay when visiting San Jose del Cabo. The rooms are beautiful and nicely furnished, The pool is relaxing, the bar has a nice selection of Mezcal, and the kitchen serves great breakfast and lunch. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. This wasn’t my first stay with Drift and it won’t be my last.

This is a Great location for art and shopping. Make sure you know whatbit takes to get to the room. We had 43 cement steps to get to ours. There are no drawers, closets or places to store things. The interaction with staff was all be text. That was nice, mostly.

The Drift is an interesting hotel but basic with very few amenities, no fridge or coffee maker in the room, not even a water glass. The bed was comfortable but no comfortable seating in the room. Lots of concrete. No comfortable seating around the pool. The staff was friendly and breakfast at the on-site restaurant was good. We would not likely stay here again.

Hurricane good time!

We visited Drift on a trip to enjot the Mezcal selections. We returned this time to stay, and enjoy the Mezcal selections. The weather did not cooperate this stay but we were treated great by the staff and we still had a wonderful stay. Just wish it could have been longer. And without a hurricane.

The hotel was nice, very boutique and comfortable. We liked hanging out by the pool, loved the food but especially the quesadillas at the hotel bar/restaurant and the Cabo coffee they serve is delicious!! The kitchen staff were super friendly, the rest of the staff can benefit from the same smile and friendly attitude.

Alex helped my wife and me during our stay. He was very kind and truly tried to provide the best service, which made us feel well taken care of. The hotel has a lot of positives. It’s located right in the heart of downtown, so we could easily walk to great restaurants and shopping spots. Also, the room was clean and stylish. The only downside was the noise at night. There’s a club nearby, so it can get a bit loud after midnight. But the hotel provides earplugs, which helped us sleep better.

Small, quaint hotel in the heart of art town. Many restaurants and shops are nearby. Parking was close, but no parking at all at the hotel or on its street. Very large, modern but rustic, nice clean rooms.

Location was amazing. We split our vacation in two - 3 nights here for a “city” experience following by 3 nights at a beach hotel. We had so much fun exploring the city. We booked the “ Baja Suite”. Highly recommend paying the little extra for this room. It was very private and roomy. Hotel itself was very relaxed and pretty. Room was cozy and the staff were lovely. There is a spa next door where we had an awesome massage. Would stay again.
