Great Stay – Excellent Staff! The staff was excellent – very accommodating and friendly throughout our stay. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It waa great, especially for the price for 3 people. We had 2 queens & a sofa bed & everything was very comfortable & clean. We lovec the pool & the restaurant was nice too. The staff was very nice & gave us a lil tour & brought our bags to our room. The only negative thing for some people is no elevator. Still, highly recommend!!

This was a fantastic surprise for us. We had never been to San Ignacio and booked the hotel hoping the reviews were accurate. We were not disappointed. The property is stunning and elegant. We stayed in a beautiful King room overlooking the jungle and enjoyed our morning coffee in the British tea cups that were elegantly provided. The art in the hotel holds vibrant depictions of the jungle animals, flora, and fauna. I felt as though in an art gallery. The food was excellent, the service, friendly and attentive. The pool has a lovely water fall that heightened the relaxation while I read my book in the sunshine. We tend to be picky travellers and my husband and I were delighted with our stay!

Pictures really don't do the hotel justice for the queen + double bed room. Very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. San Ignacio is hilly, so keep that in mind for your walking, but great exercise. - Staff was great - Close (driving) to multiple cultural and natural sight seeing/experiences - Easy parking on site

We stayed at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel for two nights and had such a great experience! Not only is the property beautiful (swimming pool, patios, tennis court & walking trails) but the room was so clean and well-appointed. We slept so well every night! The restaurant was fantastic - we usually like to go to local places but the food was so good that we ate breakfast both days and dinner one evening there. Beyond everything else, the staff was so kind and courteous. Special shout outs to Ozzie who helped us prepare for our ATM Cave tour and Elito who was a pleasure to chat with in the restaurant. We would highly recommend this property!
