Experience the charm of this solid family home built in 1934. This spacious studio efficiency suite boasts a quiet neighborhood, plenty of free street parking, DirectTV, WiFi, kitchenette, microwave, coffee nook and shower.



Walk to the Stern Grove outdoor recreation complex with parks, meadows, fields, boating, fishing, golf and much more. Shopping and practical needs are close. Easy transportation options & plenty of services deliver the amazing food San Francisco has to offer!



The Space:

This is one large, open floor plan suite, with a coffee nook, kitchenette, queen-sized bed, plenty of space for clothing storage, a bathroom with shower and Direct TV.

This space is a private master suite in the ground level of a house. It has it's own separate entrance and you will have exclusive and private access to the suite.

There is an internal stairway that leads up to the main house where the owner lives. This door is locked, but please reach out to hostwell if you need anything.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire suite. There are two doors in the back of the unit that remain locked, as they lead to other parts of the building. There is a curtained staircase with a locked door leading to the upstairs area of the house. Please do not disturb other guests in our house.



The Neighborhood:

Lots of great local restaurants and shopping in near by West Portal, Lakeside Village and Stonestown Galleria.



Local outdoor areas include:

Historic Stern Grove is a full outdoor recreation complex with athletic fields, courts, a children’s playground. Play tennis or croquet, pitch horseshoes or toss a Frisbee. Walk or jog around Pine Lake, Lake Merced, a large freshwater lake in San Francisco’s southwestern corner, is the heart of a 614-acre park that is popular with boaters, hikers, bicyclists, and birdwatchers. A 4.5-mile paved trail circles the lake’s perimeter; facilities include many picnic areas and a boathouse, fishing pier, and boat launch. The park is bounded by three golf courses, including City-owned Harding Park.



Fort Funston features 200-foot-high sandy bluffs on San Francisco’s southwest coast where the winds blow reliably wildly. No surprise it is one of the premier hang-gliding spots in the country. A network of trails make it ideal for hiking and horseback riding.



Harding Park, the only city-owned public course managed by the PGA TOUR. TPC Harding Park features 27 holes of championship golf – the 18-hole Harding Park Course and the 9-hole Fleming Course.

TPC Harding Park has been honored as "#13 Municipal Golf Course in the United States," as well as the "#24 Best Course to Play in California," by Golfweek Magazine. Golf Digest Magazine has also named it as, "one of the Best Places to Play," ranking it a 4.5 star golf course.



San Francisco Zoo:

Nestled against the Pacific Ocean, the San Francisco Zoo is an urban oasis. It is home to over 1,000 exotic, endangered and rescued animals representing more than 250 species and lovely peaceful gardens full of native and foreign plants.



This is a quiet and *safe* location in San Francisco.



Getting Around:

Easy access to nearby transportation routes: 23, 28 and K, L and M lines.

20 - 30 minutes subway ride to downtown

20 - 40 minutes drive to downtown using freeway 280 (depending on traffic)

20 minutes drive to SFO airport
