Parking is a gamble if arriving in the evening. I got lucky but not always guaranteed. Room is average, bathroom shower took a very long time for water to get hot. It was pretty quiet after 10p, neighborhood seems safe and you can’t really hear the road traffic. TV remote did not work. Overall, it was an average stay

This location was not fancy but it clean and adequate atva good price. We enjoyed being close to getting around the city to see points of interest. We enjoyed several great local restaurants within walking distance and it was a wonderful atmosphere to experience staying in a San Francisco neighborhood.

Very reasonable rates and I love the free parking but weekends can be hard to find a spot in the small parking lot. Clean room, friendly staff and many food options within walking distance. Convenient location.

Room was clean, updated, and spacious. The outside does not match to updated interior…..don’t let it put you off. We checked in at 3pm on a Sunday so we had easy parking in their lot. I’m sure that’s trickier at other times. Sidenote: we got food delivered from Extreme Pizza, highly recommend.

Room was average. Bathroom tile grout was moldy in many places. Shower spayed water beyond curtain protective barrier. I fixed the shower head myself. With a request, the room service people removed most or all of the mold on the tile grout. Parking is advertised as free, first come, first served. My friend was unable to park his car at the motel even though he got there early and was already parked. He ended up parking at the city hall parking structure 1 block down for $32/night. Point is, nothing on the website says two separate parties sharing a room can't both park in the motel parking lot. Another thing is that. Desk lamp would not stay bright and constantly blinked. I reported it to the management but the problem was never rectified. The best thing that facility has going for it is comfortable bedding. The maids do not clean or make the beds unless asked. When I stay at other SF hotels, the rooms and beds are cleaned each day and fresh towels are provided for the bathrooms. I don't think I would recommend Inn on Grove for anyone unless they are on a strict budget.

The clerk at check in and check out was very warm and welcoming. The check-in and checkout process was very quick and efficient. The room was clean, but a very basic room. The decor was a little aged, and there was some graffiti on one of the pieces of art on the headboard of the bed. The bed was very comfortable. The bathtub fixtures were also aged, but clean. Overall, not a bad place to stay for the price and the included parking right out front was excellent.
