Beautiful classic hotel. The coffee and water that is available for free 24 hours a day was priceless (is priceless free)? Halle not only maintained an impeccable coffee room on the 2nd floor but she also checked us out. Even though I was all jacked up on free coffee I decided to use my $25 off voucher to enjoy an awesome Bloody Maria as they call them in the bar and a very authentic tasting Cuban sandwich. The Gaslamp district is very cool and this hotel adds to the coolness.

The Beau Hotel is a charming boutique stay located in the heart of San Diego’s vibrant Gaslamp District. The location is excellent—just steps from top restaurants, nightlife, and local attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. The hotel offers a stylish, intimate atmosphere with thoughtful amenities, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Cleanliness was good, with rooms and common areas well-maintained. On the downside, the bed linens and pillows were average and didn’t quite match the otherwise inviting feel of the hotel. The most noticeable issue was the poor water pressure in the shower, which made for a less-than-ideal experience. Also worth noting: there’s no elevator, only stairs, which might be a challenge for some guests. Despite a few drawbacks, The Beau Hotel delivers great value through its prime location, attentive staff, and boutique charm.

Chris Brown concert

The hotel does not stand out, it is a small boutique hotel amongst other buildings. When you walk in, it is exactly like the photos on the website. The front desk persons were super friendly with fast checkin and checkout. We received a $25 food credit to the restaurant on site which had a cute ambiance and the food is good. The hotel itself does not have an escalator or elevator as its a historic building, but someone does bring your luggage up and down for you. There is a luggage call button on each floor, and i watched the man effortlessly come up to the 3rd floor to help with luggage. Each floor has a coffee/tea room which was great. There is an outdoor patio you can sit in. The room itself has a minimalist vibe with only the necessities, bed, 2 nightstands, tv on wall, desk under tv, and some wall painting decor. There is a rolling luggage rack with about 5 hangars as well. The bathroom was decent size as well, the only thing i wish they had was towel hooks to hang wet towels and even that isnt a huge problem. The area around had restaurants everywhere and Petco Park is only a 10 minute walk and the San Diego airport is about a 15 minute drive. I would definitely come back and stay here, it was wonderful.

My Girlfriend and I absolutely loved this hotel! Check in was Quick and easy and the staff were great, very kind,Friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted and needed, we definitely would recommend staying here, it’s a quick walk to all the bars and to petco park, very Convenient!

Found a long hair in the bathroom not mine as I’m bald. I asked for a noon checkout when I checked in and was told it would be $10 I said no problem. I had housekeeping rudely knocking on my door at 11:15. I also watched the manager in the restaurant Barreda customer the previous evening like he was stealing when the only thing that happened was his credit card was declined. Not the way a manager should act. It was so bad that the customer had to tell him to back up off of him because he kept pushing the issue that his credit card was declined. The customer standing right next to me.

WOW! What a beautiful boutique hotel! I was in town for a conference so the location was the perfect location for a 15 minute walk to the convention center. Lots of great local dining options, including the hotel's own restaurant and bar. The rooms are quaint, clean, and relaxing. This hotel certainly has vintage charm and is like stepping back into a more refined era. The front desk staff was awesome, they were all very kind. The building felt secure, great for solo travelers. The cocktails at the bar were great. I looks forward to staying here aging!

This hotel was beautiful. It was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed staying in a different kind of hotel/ room than what we’re used to and I don’t regret it one bit. We walked to Petco Park for the Savanna Banana game. It was a quick easy walk. We would definitely stay here again the old charm was beautiful

Staff were very nice 🙂 and beautiful hotel . cozy area with coffee and tea machines. , but our room wasn't what we expected. Door didn't work smoothly and Bathroom door didn't close and stop at the end . I told them couple of times and at the end maintenance guy came and try to fixed it but still door didn't close and getting stuck . we spent our stay with this big issue and sink was broken and fixe by gluing . And big noisy fan whole time.
