Both the front office and housekeeping staff were amazingly nice, friendly and accommodating. They were happy and accommodating even when busy and short-staffed. The free continental breakfast was more than expected and my daughter had a really good Belgium waffle. Very close to Old Town San Diego and the trolly station. Perfect for our overnighter.

The room was well designed, comfortable and clean. We appreciated the fact of its being a family business, and staff could not have been more helpful. The location is a bit of a drawback, however. Which is okay if you have a car.

It's always a pleasure staying here. Three main things we love are the beds, FREE breakfast and FREE parking. The majority of hotels charge extra for parking and breakfast. Although the area is not the best, we have never had a problem staying here. Would stay again.
