This hotel has always been a favorite of mine because it provides everything I need on-site, allowing me to enjoy my stay without having to leave the property. Unfortunately, the services can be inconsistent.
Upon my arrival, everything always went smoothly, and the staff was accommodating and kind. However, during my last stay, an employee approached my party and I, creating an unnecessary situation. Also, I had to wait an hour to have my vehicle brought to me during checkout, and I found the $35 valet charge to be steep, especially since parking in the area is difficult. To make matters worse, there was no apology from the valet, and I was disappointed by the long wait. When I informed the front desk about my experience, the response was, "My apologies! We did not intend for your experience to be like this." While this was appropriate, it should have been followed up with a solution and a genuine attempt to understand the inconvenience and embarrassment caused, especially with my guests present.
I love the property, but I am discouraged and disappointed by the disregard for customer service. Because of this experience, I am hesitant to recommend this hotel to my friends or book rooms here in the future.
