Wonderful Stay

We had an incredible birthday weekend stay at Hotel Indigo. The moment we walked into the chic lobby we were greeted by a cheery and helpful staff. We got a room upgrade to a suite with amazing views of Petco park, thank you Michael ! The room was spotless and the bed was a dream of comfort. The location was perfect, walking distance to a variety of great restaurants and shops. On our last day we needed to store our luggage because we had a late flight out and Imani was so friendly and gracious helping us with our bags and making sure we had access to the hotel amenities ! Will definitely come back !!

Great hotel.

Four nights for business. Best breakfasts I’ve had in a hotel (fruit + yogurt). Clean, new and big rooms. Bed was pretty soft was the only negative.

I was extremely frustrated by the constant "nickel and diming" practices throughout my visit. The resort fee felt not only misleading but extortionary since it's not disclosed until after booking on Expedia. This so called resort fee didn’t cover any of the typical amenities you would expect, such as a pool or spa, and what it claims to cover are basic services that are often provided in even budget hotels—like free coffee, tea, and water in the lobby. These are standard in hostels, yet your resort fee only offers two bottles of water that require guests to walk down to reception to pick up. The same bottles in the room require an extra charge. Same goes for the coffee and tea, costs extra to use the ones in the room and it's only available in the lobby for a short few hours. To top it off, valet parking is a separate charge, which would be understandable if not for the already steep resort fee added to the bill. For the price of the stay, I expected these basic amenities to be included. Instead, it felt like I was being constantly squeezed for more money with little in return. The restaurant incentives were underwhelming and barely covered anything, and the food didn’t justify the cost. The accumulation of these charges made my stay feel more like a scheme to extract as much from me as quickly as possible, rather than offering a seamless, enjoyable experience. If you want to build lasting success, I strongly urge you to reconsider these practices.

Very nice hotel, clean on the inside and very friendly staff. If you are going to walk to the Gaslamp District be mindful that there are homeless people sleeping on the street a lot of urine, bad smells in the area and walk in groups.

Rooms and elevators seemed a little worn down / dated but overall was a pleasant experience. The room seemed clean so no complaints there and the service was great. Thin walls though I could hear the elevator all the way from my room.

Hotel was nice. Room service didn’t clean our room or replace the towels. They didn't fix our beds only the top sheet was fixed and covered up the bottom blankets. The free breakfast was pretty good. The service in the kitchen and front desk was top notch.

My daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very accommodating. We felt safe walking to and from. We would stay here again.
