After staying at WCS&S multiple times, I can honestly say the rooms are always clean, well stocked, and the staff is very attentive to whatever you may need, and always with a smile. Great old skool vibe with modern standards! I'll be back and will be recommending WCS&S to friends.

Always an awesome stay at WCS&S! Great attention to details in the rooms...clean, smells great, cieling fans, super comfortable beds, coffee...the list goes on and on. Easy parking and catered to the surf/beach culture with board storage racks, rinse area, outdoor patio and even a full size BBQ area. Dave, the owner, will look after you and make sure you have a great stay. Now go surf!!

Cute little motel. Great restaurant across the street too. The room is small and clean. One odd thing: no electrical outlet in the bathroom. Owners are very thoughtful and attentive. Great value.

My husband and I have stayed at the West Coast Surf and Stay twice so far and plan to continue making this place our go-to!! It is family run, and the owner Dave has always been nothing but kind and hospitable to my husband and I. It is always clean and welcoming. Our favorite place to stay BY FAR!!!!

Came here for business at Camp Pendleton, and I loved my stay here. This place was awesome, and the was price was great. Dave, the owner, goes out of his way to accommodate you and make you feel at home. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. I’ve definitely found my favorite hotel for when I travel to San Clemente.

We loved our stay at the West Coast Surf Inn. It is an old school motel in the best way. Clean, comfortable, and no nonsense. The bed was genuinely comfortable, the room was well kept, and the shower had great water pressure. They even had great local coffee in the room with the coffee maker, which was a really nice touch. Bonus points for actual Charmin toilet paper, which says more about a place than people realize. It is affordable, honest, and clearly a family-run place by folks who actually care about your stay. And if you are lucky, Harvey will be around and you can pet him. We would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent property. Owners are on site and you can really tell they put their heart n soul into the hotel. Everything was spot on. Dave was very friendly and available to make sure we were taken care of. One of the best options in the area. Clean and comfortable. Recently upgraded so a lot of the things were new and in great shape.
