The room had a great view but maintenance almost all our stay were fixing the stairs in front of our room very very noisy. Also the WiFi did not work well so the TV could not be watched with out buffering.

AC remote non operable. Initial parking and unloading was interesting to say the least If ur not familiar w the area and u check in the dark? Good luck...otherwise u cant beat the location especially being a surfer. Overall, great value for an off season trip

You can't get much better for being directly across from San Clemente pier. There's a variety of restaurants directly below the hotel and all you have to do is walk across the street to get to the beach. The hotel will provide beach chairs and towels. Everything was wonderful!

Great location, very dated and tired looking hotel

Rooms are motel 6 level, very dated, sad looking, bad wifi, no room cards, need keys, but staff is friendly and helpful and location is perfect. A little money toward upgrades would go a long way here. We would not stay here again.

I don't understand some of the reviews about the loud noise they hear from the bar until 3am. I barely heard anything. The train maybe a little but it never really bothered me. Staff was great, very helpful and knowledgeable. Stairs are safe, but a tad strenuous for some of us older folks. Thats why i recomend (and did myself) getting a room on the 2nd floor. View is stunning. Rooms are tad small but clean. No bugs. You are near everything plus a free trolley. Restaurant below were very nice. So much to do, or just chill all day. Waves can be strong. At times I was hit by waves from both the front and the back! Felt very safe, even at night. I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Location is key

Location, location. The hotel is quite run down, the bathroom has seen better days and the towels are extremely thin. The plus is that you are in the heart of San Clemente and the loaned beach visits are a plus! The air conditioning works well and the bed is comfortable
