Welcome to Duendes del Maitén, a charming complex of four fully equipped cabins, nestled in the peaceful and scenic area of Villa Lago Gutiérrez.

Just 200 meters from the lake that gives the area its name and 800 meters from the renowned Arelauquen Golf & Polo Club, our location offers the perfect balance between nature and comfort. We’re only 15 minutes from downtown Bariloche and a short drive to Cerro Catedral, South America’s most iconic ski resort.

Each of our cabins is fully heated, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished to ensure you feel right at home—or even better.

The kitchen comes with everything you need: an electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, cookware, utensils, and more. Outside, each unit features its own grill, perfect for enjoying traditional Argentine barbecues during the summer.

All cabins feature a private bathroom with a jacuzzi or whirlpool tub, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, skiing, or lakeside adventures—your own personal spa retreat.

Our complex also includes a children’s outdoor play area, making it a great choice for families.

We live on-site in one of the cabins year-round and are always available to personally welcome you and assist with any questions or needs during your stay.

Access is simple and convenient thanks to our location on a paved road, making arrival easy even in winter conditions.

We’re just steps from the lake’s edge and close to the main beach, where you can enjoy water activities, nature walks, or bike rides through breathtaking Patagonian landscapes.
