Do not stay here if you value your sleep. We were woken up all morning starting at 7 AM to the non-stop sounds of dump trucks right outside our window. There is also no food on the property outside restaurant dining hours. No mini bar in the room and no water available to make a coffee in the morning. We would have had to spare our $7 room waters to make coffee in our room. On the plus side the staff is lovely and kind and the bartenders that we encountered at the main bar and rooftop were great! The server in the morning however looked confused when I asked her for cream and sugar for my coffee. She said they had no cream but they had several milks. I ordered one and never received it until I asked the hostess. At this point the coffee was cold. I don’t know how you can screw up coffee but she managed it. The property itself is beautiful but lacking in all of the extras and attention to detail that make it worth the price.

The room and lobby were spotless, everyone was welcoming and helpful. It was my wife and I’s honeymoon, and I could not have asked for a better time in a more beautiful hotel. All the amenities were top notch. 10/10 experience.

My husband and I spent our anniversary vacation here and we received such great service. The location was very close to the Riverwalk, where they had plenty of attractions, restaurants, and places to shop. It just so happened that we had arrived during the San Antonio fiesta, which took place right in downtown. The room was very comfortable and clean. This hotel is very modern and classy. The rooftop pool could be a little deeper. It only goes up to 4 feet but regardless it was a nice addition to the hotel, especially with the rooftop bar right next to it. We would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you for making our wedding anniversary vacation very memorable.

Check out was scheduled for 3PM but we had to wait until 5PM. Staff was able to give us a voucher towards our dinner reservation since we had to wait which was great. However, when we got to the room it was not exactly how it was described on the site. The property is great, the restaurant and their staff were amazing but would not be booking a room to stay here again.

New hotel, beautifully designed. Rooms, dining and communal areas are great. Pool and gym were excellent. Reasons for the 2 star review is 1) the service - breakfast was super slow, the staff are polite but need better training and supervision and 2) extra invalid charges - I paid for breakfast and parking in my reservation. The hotel added these to my credit card without approval. I raised this with the hotel and their front desk weren’t competent enough to resolve. Expedia had to credit me back as even they couldn’t get a sensible answer from the hotel. I’m a fan of kimpton hotels and this property is great but the staff need training asap.
