400 meters away from bus stop. Does provide free shuttle to and from bus stop. Nice property tucked away in the forest. River in front of the rooms and property adds to calmness and natural beauty.

A great place to stay. We arrived at 8am and we were given oir room key straight away. Great to get an early chexk in after an overnight bus. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was really good. We would stay again and i would recommend oasis to anyone.

Beautiful gateway

Everything was perfect. Location and view were fantastic. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Our guide Felix was extremely friendly and kind, he sure made our experience even better.

Didn’t give me back my change and they don’t even have a cash register they do everything by the book and no security cameras but one everyone is young and manger didn’t even bother to look me in the eye and talk to me and they don’t do your bed and no hot water and and trash bins in the room or bathroom

It's a gorgeous property and the staff is AMAZING. Property is always getting updated and the owners care about the local people as well as tourists. There can be issues with electricity/water with passing storms, etc., but this is not specific to Oasis. One has to remember that it's a different country, so roll with it and enjoy the scenery!

The front desk and waiters were very friendly. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were stained. There was a lot of hair on the shower wall. The comforter was thin and not warm. The water heater didnt work very well. There was no hot water in the sink. But from what it sounds like, staying at this location was better than staying at the location inside the park, because they didnt have hot water or electricity after an early hour. The food was pricey compared to what we were paying in the rest of Guatemala. But the breakfast was good.

Overall, the accommodation was good. What made this a terrible stay was the pickup/ tour guide, Ruben, if I'm not mistaken. The hostel manager knows the person. A friend of mine and I travelled with two French ladies, and during the Semuc tour, which we booked in our hostel, the guy was making sexual comments to the girls. And worse, when we went into the small cave, one of the girls was last to exit (only the guide knew the underwater exit). He touched and asked one of the girls if she wanted to kiss him and later have sex! Misusing the situation and his position is not only rude or disrespectful but also harassment! When we returned to the hostel, we told the hotel manager, who showed empathy and was kind of surprised. She told us that she would call the manager/ owner and asked us to write this on a note for them, which we did. Unfortunately, we didn't receive any call or message from the manager/ owner, and that's a pity!
