Escape to tranquility at Mazot du Criou, an authentic Savoyard chalet just a 6-minute walk from the center of Samoëns, in the heart of the Grand Massif. Designed for a cozy stay for couples, families, or friends, it blends mountain charm with modern comfort.
Nestled on the edge of the forest in a peaceful area with a few spaced-out chalets, the mazot offers a serene, green setting ideal for relaxation and unwinding.
This two-story property features a living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom, accommodating up to four guests. Additional amenities include a TV, WiFi, and access to a streaming platform. Enjoy a private outdoor space with a garden, open-air terrace, two balconies, and a play area.
The floors are accessed by a steep miller’s ladder, typical of Savoyard mazots (see photos), adding to the chalet’s authentic character.
One parking space is available on the property, and free street parking is also nearby. The property is in a protected area, so it’s not possible to build a paved path through the garden separating the road from the mazot.
Pets and smoking are not allowed. Water-saving devices are installed. Convenient check-in is provided for your arrival.
