You get what you pay for

Let's just say, you get what you pay for. I had to wait 10 mins for a clerk to show up to sign me in, the air-conditioner worked but could not be adjusted as the knob was broken. The door in the back was broken so anyone could just walk into the building. There were sketchy people in the parking lot. Two vehicles parked next to each other in the bad with people hanging out while a charging cord went from inside the building to whatever they were doing. The front desk burns incense so the halls smelled like it. Stains everywhere, the carpet, walls, ceilings. On the bedding. The bathroom smelled of mold and was gross. No conditioner. No ice.

The host checking us in demanded a cash deposit of $150, then lowered it to $100. I knew that there was a $150 damage deposit, but no where did it say cash. Every place listed on Travelocity that requires a deposit does it via card. She said there was an ATM on the property. When I asked for a receipt I was told they don't do that, and ended up taking a picture of their paperwork with a written $100 deposit. It didn't inspire confidence when we got to the room and the TV screen was scratched and the shower curtain was loose. I took pictures in case they wanted to hold us accountable. In the morning the clerk (once he arrived at the counter) gave our cash deposit back without checking anything (what was the point). We will not be going back and don't reccomend it.

Over all a fairly nice place. Rooms are nicely appointed , carpet looked fairly fresh, choice of wood and Mountain theme made the room look cozy. Hallways are in dire need of a fresh coat of paint. Great location, close to everything. A lot are within walking distance. Both the Owner and his wife are in site, and very pleasant to work with. Will stay here again in the future and recommend to friends in the future for Ski Trips in the Winter months.

When I got there I was asked to give a $100 cash deposit for the room. This deposit was buried deep in their info on Expedia. It took me ten minutes to find it. Sketchy neighborhood and even sketchier hotel. Never again.
