Wonderful stay, interior is vintage 1920's architecture, well maintained and cozy. The staff consistently went above and beyond in terms of service. Location in the downtown area is ideal, near just about everything you can think of. We will definitely stay here again on our next return.

Loved the history of the building. The room was clean and quiet. The club is private to members and the small number of guests staying in the rooms, which gives it an old school country club feel. Walkable to the mall and lots of dining options.We will stay there again.

Courteous and helpful staff (Michele). Room and bathroom were spotless. Brighter lights would be helpful. Very clubby atmosphere. Quiet. Comfy bed. Pub restaurant was ok. ($22 for one slice of cauliflower??). Alta Club is a great location.

Loved the building, staff, and food. If you want somewhere that’s convenient and quiet, just a fantastic place to chill, this is it! Food was some of the best I’ve had in SLC, and the fireplaces gave me cozy places to unwind and read. Very relaxing atmosphere. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff.

The room was attractive, comfortable and had a great view of the city.
The Alta is also a club and throws a fun Halloween party. They clearly enjoy decorating!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They make you feel at home. The accommodations were historic and unique. Cool billiard and card room. Location was very convenient and parking lot was close. Just a fun, unique place to stay. We hope to stay at the Alta Club again soon!

The staff at this hotel is the best hospitality i've ever received! They had an event going on that night and were very courteous to try and amend the situation as soon as they could. Very charming warm building and even better people working!

Parking was easy once we figured out where it was. There was construction so we missed it the first time. The room was beautiful and it was great to have coffee/tea available in the upstairs lobby where the room was. The room was super clean and comfortable. Room cleaning was wonderful! Be sure to bring business casual clothes as there is a dress code we were not aware of. Easy access to all of downtown.

The hotel has historic charm, but the old windows don’t block noise, and nearby construction makes it worse. Weekday breakfast is excellent and the staff very kind, but on weekends only a light snack (coffee and cake) is offered, which isn’t mentioned in the booking. The room was smaller and different from the photos. Overall, good service but some details should be clearer.
