Great location, spacious fully equipped room, bed and pillows fantastically comfortable, superb location, lovely waterside views, superb all you can eat breakfast with so much choice. One of our go to places when Manchester bound.

Great location, but not so great sleep!

The Salford Quays area is a nice place to stay, parking £10 for 24 hours is a bargain! Tram station is a few mins away. The hotel is located right by the water and we given the option to have a room with a water view which was nice. The room itself was very compact but did t feel overly small. Bathroom was a good size, Dove toiletries are supplied, if you've forgotten anything there is a vast array on offer for free at reception - toothbrush, face clothes etc. The room had the bonus of air con which was needed when we arrived. The bed seemed to be on the smaller side, there was also a sofa bed in the room (609). Didn't have the best night sleep, noise from the lift which is opposite the room door, but the room was very clean. kettle, tea/coffee etc, hairdryer and iron all in the room. Breakfast was extremely busy, the staff worked tirelessy to keep the food topped up. But with it being so busy as soon as an item was replenished it was gone! So breakfast was eaten over several plates! But sadly didn't get a croissant as they were snapped up instally each time! Would I stay there again?? Yes, but in a room with a bigger bed and not near the lift! Breakfast was good quality, staff lovely but stretched at breakfast but were always polite and helpful, check in staff were very helpful and Informative. Location great for the shops, museums, old Trafford and access to the city centre.

Great service

From check in to check out the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. After a long day, the reception gave advice on the locale pointing us in the direction of some much needed early food. The bar staff were great when we returned from the match. Breakfast service was great despite a lot of guests but everyone seemed happy. I would recommend this hotel and will book again the next time in Manchester.

Short break over Easter

Some rooms have connecting doors to neighbours even though we didn't know them and this means if you get "noisy neighbours" you can't do a lot about it. Some rooms on the first floor are near the outside air conditioning units which can also be a little noisy. Staff were friendly and helpful despite it being very busy at times - Easter combined with MUFC maches. Very handy for the media city area restaurants and the IWM Manchester and only a relatively short walk to a tram stop. Good food choise at breakfast

poor conditions

The rooms were so small for families, and the sofa bed was uncomfortable. Our room's air conditioning system was not working, they offered to send a heater, and change the room for the next day. But the night was freezing, we didn't want to stay any longer. We left early. At least, the team was helpful to our needs, they were kind.

I had a tough time reviewing this property. For example, every staff member I talked to was polite, knowledgeable and helpful. However, the toilet in our room got stopped up and there was not only no maintenance staff available, but not even a plunger. We were advised we could use the public bathroom off the lobby and it turn out there was only one stall in the men’s room and that stall had a broken door that could not be locked! We were also told a maintenance man would come the next day, but we never saw him. It should also be noted that our room was not cleaned one of the three days we were booked in the hotel. On suggestion for improving the overall customer experiences is that the facility should subscribe to at least one of the TV services that provide coverage of football games. The facilities location is a real plus. Easily walkable to a plethora of nice eating places, Old Trafford, and public transportation.

Great location near Old Trafford and the shops and restaurants of Salford Quay. Walkable to trams if going further into Manchester. So many convenient options around. Breakfast was pretty good and very well managed by the staff.
