"HISTORICAL SPLENDOR ON HALLOWED GROUND“. This 11th century mill built on Viking settlements; later became critical to victory in Normandy. At great human cost, this narrow bridge was finally secured by the 82nd Airborne becoming freedom’s passage for the allies. Many would even form Patton’s 3rd Army. His granddaughter Helen- now part owner- welcomes you to dive into history by enjoying the hospitality of our Guest House with English speaking staff and discover this magnificent region.
