Offering accommodation for 4 people, this renovated gîte is ideal for couples or small families with children. Le Grenier is a bright contemporary gîte that adjoins the far end of Maison Pyron, a maison de maître villa / old farmhouse, the home of the owners. With its own garden and entrances, it overlooks the pool, woods and grounds. Ideal for exploring the Chalosse, the Atlantic coastline (1 hour 10 minutes by car), down to Spain and San Sebastian (2 hours) as well as the Pyrenees (1 hour 30 minutes), many guests enjoy the peace and quiet that the Grenier offers.

In-ground solar-heated pool (mid-May to mid/late September; 20 - 30 degrees depending on the outside temperatures): 10 x 5m with pool alarm and gated fence, furniture, table tennis table, darts. Use of pool and gardens.

Inside features: Ground Floor: Galley kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with freezer box, oven, hob, microwave, coffee machines and cafetières, dining table & chairs, storage heater and stairs

First floor:
- Living room with comfortable sofa, 2 club armchairs, English and French TV plus Netflix, reversible air conditioning / heating unit and storage heater
- Spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin, WC, heated towel rail
- Bedroom 1 - king size bed (152 x 198)
- Bedroom 2 - 2 single beds (90 x 190) and/or travel cot

The property is situated between Hagetmau (5 minutes by car, 3 km) and Saint Sever (10 minutes by car, 11 km). Both towns have cafés, boulangeries, patisseries, markets and independents stores in the centre and there are several supermarkets between 5-10 minutes drive from here.

The grounds are large with plenty of space, offering chances to see wildlife, watch the stars and eat outside in summer. You will have a fob to use the electric gates to park at the front of the main house, where there is parking for several cars.

There are EV charging points in Hagetmau at Intermarché, Mr Bricolage and Carrefour and oppposite the Médiathèque. If you would like to use our GreenUp charger, there will be a small fee of between approximately 3€ - 15€ per charge.

Guests have priority use of the pool - the discrete onsite owners (a couple) use the pool from time to time. We are on hand as much or as little as you wish. We will maintain the grounds and pool during your stay. We can suggest visits, restaurants and day-trips and speak French so can help you with translations and arrange bookings, trips out or liaise with any return stopover hotels, etc…
