Take long walks on the fine sandy beach right on your doorstep and let yourself be enchanted by the view of the vast sea. Hop on a bike and explore picturesque pine forests, dune landscapes and charming villages. Sample freshly caught oysters in small harbours such as La Cotinière or enjoy local specialities in cosy restaurants with sea views. Visit the famous Phare de Chassiron lighthouse at the northern tip of the island, from whose platform you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama. Stroll through the colourful markets, where regional products, handicrafts and specialities are on offer.
