Les Rossignols is a sympathetically converted, well equipped barn full of character located near the quiet village of St Colomb de Lauzun where the Dordogne meets the Lot-et-Garonne. Set in a tranquil location in the heart of the countryside with it's own outdoor pool and plenty of outdoor space. The local town is 2km away and offers an excellent boulangerie, bars restaurants, a cafe, boucherie, small supermarket and a pharmacy.
The gite is ideally located to explore the abundance of sights in the Dordogne and the Lot-et-Garonne. You will be spoilt for restaurants, markets and activities.

Perfect break

This was an amazing property! Plenty of space for all of us, whether we wanted to be together or spend time curled up alone with a book and a glass of wine. The pool was the best we have ever used - we even found pool towels supplied. The French countryside was breathtaking, the locals friendly and our hosts so welcoming. The younger members of the group especially liked the wine & music session we shared on the last night. Hugo & Sid were friendly but polite pets - keeping a respectful distance unless invited to approach for attention. All in all, couldn’t be more perfect. Thank you very much.
