Wonderful chalet.

We had a wonderful time staying in this well-equipped location. The area is magnificent - the hiking and climbing are superb. Our hosts were warm and friendly. The only downside was that there is no bed-linen/towels supplied. This wasn't made clear on the listing. We were only told in an email, sent the evening before (by this time we had already left home and didn't even see the email until after we arrived), fortunately we were camping and so had adequate bedding with us. Apart from this minor inconvenience, everything was great.

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux cet été en famille. Le gîte est très bien situé dans la vallée du Veneon avec une vue magnifique sur la barre des Ecrins. Pascal et Suzanne sont très accueillants et chaleureux. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié le confort du chalet très bien rénové et un grand jardin qui permet d’admirer la vue à 360 degrés. Le gîte est aisément accessible par la route à quelques km de saint Christophe en Oisans et bien situé pour les départs de randos et courses. Un lieu vraiment unique! En prime l’excellent miel de Pascal et les cours de musculation de Suzanne ! Veronique et Jean Luc

Un petit coin de paradis au coeur des Ecrins ♡

Nous avons séjourné aux Alpinistes lors d'un long week-end du mois de mai. Tout était parfait ! Notamment : - l'accueil chaleureux et la disponibilité de Suzanne et Pascal (un grand merci par ailleurs pour la recommandation de randonnées) - l'authenticité et l'emplacement du gite, porte d'entrée sur de nombreuses randonnées, sans avoir même besoin d'utiliser une voiture. - l'aménagement du jardin extérieur offrant en plus une vue splendide et des couchers de soleil inoubliables sur le dôme et la barre des Ecrins. Pour toutes ces raisons, nous recommandons ce gite sans hésitation et avons hâte de pouvoir y séjourner à nouveau.
