Beautiful home dates to 1890's. Upscale neighborhood, convenient location to mid-town. Large bedroom. Clean. Helpful staff. Three turnoffs. One very small garbage can in restroom not sufficient. Add another in bedroom. Broadcast TV stations not watchable. Heavy pixilation and audial distortion insurmountable. Upon checking in, I received an e-mail stating I was being billed for two nights, despite the fact that I had prepaid. Staff didn't shed light on the situation. Had to call Expedia and have them contact staff. Had it not been for these three factors, the rating would have been much better.

Hidden gem in Sacramento

The venue was lovely and stately. As an architectural enthusiast, the details were old-world craftsmanship. The room had all the basics needed for a good sleep. I was there on a Sunday and the neighborhood was quiet. The continental breakfast was sufficient. This will be my first choice from now on when staying in Sacramento.

Good Place to Stay Near Downtown Sacramento

The location was excellent, especially for events downtown. The house is beautiful and quiet. The only problem we encountered was that the bed wasn't terribly comfortable and squeaked noisily every time we turned over during the night.
