Do not be fooled by the photos. This hotel was a complete disaster. The lobby looked nothing like the pictures: run-down, poorly maintained, and even had a roof leak dripping into a plant placed in the middle of the walkway. The man at the front desk struggled to communicate with us, and after lugging all our bags to the 3rd floor, our key card didn’t work. We had to haul everything back down for a replacement before finally getting in. The room itself was unacceptable. My girlfriend stepped right into a puddle of water from a leaking toilet. The outlets near the sink didn’t work, and the TV randomly turned on, blasting at full volume and flipping channels uncontrollably until we unplugged it. When I asked for a new room, we were told there were none available and to “come back in the morning.” We tried to make the best of it, hoping breakfast would redeem the stay, but instead found a dirty, unstocked dining area. A staff member walked in with a bowl of eggs and microwaved them right in front of us instantly killing any appetite. They finally gave us a different room the next day, but it had paper-thin floors where every step was felt, no microwave, and our key cards continued to deactivate, forcing us back to the desk 6–8 times. This was easily one of the worst hotel stays we’ve ever had. False advertising, terrible maintenance, and awful service. Stay far away.

Dangerous Homeless Hotel

The hotel had very sketching people harassing a guest who was trying to check in in the parking lot. The front door was locked when I arrived just after midnight and it took multiple calls to get someone to open the door. There was another guest who came up while I was attempting to check in and said her room was flooding and they needed his help to turn off the water. I asked the night manager if this was a "homeless Hotel" and he said yes and that it would probably be better for me to cancel the reservation and that I would have to do it through Hotels.com, he could not do it. I contacted Hotels.com from my car to cancel it but they said they would have to contact the hotel which they attempted several times, leaving me in a dangerous position in the parking lot, and could not get anyone to answer the phone. I am now being charged for 2 nights I never stayed at the hotel and was advised by the night manager to go to a safer hotel.

One of the Worst Hotel Experiences of My Life – Avoid at All Costs If I could give zero stars, I would. My stay at Rancho Cordova Inn was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. First, the customer service was beyond terrible. The front desk staff were rude, dismissive, and made it very clear they couldn’t care less about guests. Any issues I brought up were met with attitude instead of solutions. Second, the property itself was loud and chaotic. Other guests were threatening to fight each other and made noise at all hours of the night, and management did absolutely nothing about it. Don’t expect to get any sleep here. To make matters worse, they mishandled my deposit. Instead of putting a temporary hold like every normal hotel, they charged my card outright and then refused to refund it. So now I’m stuck paying extra for the privilege of staying in this dump. Between the filthy rooms, the noise, the complete lack of professionalism, and the shady billing practices, this place is a scam. Save yourself the headache and book literally anywhere else. Rancho Cordova Inn is an embarrassment to hospitality. I wouldn’t stay here again if you paid me.

I’ve been traveling for 15 years, and this has been the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. They didn’t have any towels. I asked the front desk, and they told me they didn’t have any clean towels because they hadn’t done the laundry, and that they might have some by 10 a.m. the next day. The beds were awful. The room was extremely dirty — the sheets had stains, there were bed bugs, and even cockroaches. Please avoid this hotel. If you’re considering staying here based on the photos, don’t. The pictures are completely misleading. Terrible. Absolutely terrible.

OMG I got catfish by a hotel. The room that I had gotten was filthy. There was wires hanging from the ceiling where the smoke detector goes, sheets were dirty, floor was filthy, I had a non smoking room that smelled horrible like cigarette ash and the pool was really dirty the laundry facility was two washers and two dryers outside in the hallway, my room was infested with flies. I asked for a refund and was refunded $11 dollars I took pictures and I wish I could post them, the breakfast sucked rotten bananas and dirty eating area . It used to be the quality inn but now rancho Cordova inn I do not recommend this place save your money don't waste your time. plaacetaalw.allreaked
