I walked into the whirlpool sweet and it was already 30 degrees in there. No one turned on the heat prior to my arrival despite it being -14°F outside. I couldn't get the cable to work, and realized everything was not connected and i had to Google how to set it all up i figured it out, cool. So i turned on the whirlpool and stuff started shooting out the jets, black crud all over. I was like, whatever I'll go to the store down the road and get some stuff to clean it. I hadn't even looked at the bathroom yet, I walk in and as I grab the handle to the bathroom it falls off into my hand. And the shelf was chewed up below the sink. A pet I'm assuming was locked in there at some point. I decide to set up my computer on the bed and plug it in to the outlets on the bedside tables, those did not work, so I moved the tables and plugged into the wall outlets. Fine. I get comfy and turn on the "cable" I set up, and literally every channel was blocked. I found Hoarders which I can tolerate, so that was okay. It took about 6 hours for the room to get up to nonfreezing temp. I buried myself in blankets. The fridge was warm. Everything was covered in layers of dust. It just felt like I'd been the first one to use it in YEARS. The curtains and blinds were tore up and ripped. I kept getting a cold draft and tried to find out where it was coming from and there was a gap between the wall heater and outside which was pouring in -18°F gusts so I used all the towels in the room to wrap the unit.

I had a great stay at the AmeriVu Inn and Suites in Chisago City. The room was clean, fresh-smelling, and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff handled check-in professionally — I really appreciated that they didn’t take my credit card to the back room, which was a big improvement from my last experience elsewhere. The atmosphere was friendly, and the parking area was well-lit and felt safe. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Chisago City is a beautiful place, and this hotel made my stay even better.

The hot tub had a plumbing issue, debris kept coming out of the jets. The staff was in our room for a while, attempting to fix it to no success. We never got to enjoy that part of the room and paid a lot of money to do so so that was very disappointing. We were never offered another room, or any amount of a refund. I would never choose to stay here again.

Not many options in Chisago, but this no longer an option. Air handler is loud and kept me up most of the night. Staff was not very helpful. It’s only 3am now so I can’t speak to the breakfast.

Room had several lady bugs we had to kill; was some sort of aquaphor or gel on the office chair arm and tv remote was missing thw back and a battery. Drains were very slow in bathroom, pool was freezing cold and the few times we swam we had to go to the front desk for towels as well as toliet paper for the bathrooms outside our room. Breakfast wasnt kept up on, according to front desk there was limited staff. Would not recommend.

We arrived after dark and our room was very cold. We closed the drapes and turned up the heat... to 83... and it was still cool. When we got up in the morning and opened the drapes, a window had been open the entire time. Please have housekeeping make sure windows are shut! Also, pool water was quite cool.

Flat sheet on bed was the polyester duvet flat sheet cover so anytime that you moved in bed you would get shocked with static electricity & see little sparks. Walls thin enough to hear the person in room beside us snoring Crumbs on floor so room had not been vacuumed Mold spots on shower curtain so also could tell that it had not been cleaned Door close button missing in the elevator
