I paid a significant amount of money expecting a quality stay, but the rooms were extremely outdated, junky, and nonfunctional. The refrigerator did not cool and was leaking water, the bathtub never got beyond lukewarm, the door locks were unreliable, and there were bugs in the room. I spoke with hotel staff during my stay, and while maintenance was eventually sent for the water issue, all other concerns were brushed off.
We had specifically requested adjoining rooms so we could be next to our teenage children. Instead, we were given two rooms next to each other. When I complained, the only “solution” offered was to move us—something we couldn’t do because being near our children was non-negotiable. That was the extent of their so-called customer service.
I followed up with management after my stay, even sending photos and videos of the issues. I received no response at all. I then involved Expedia, who contacted the hotel on my behalf, and still the hotel refused any type of reimbursement or even partial compensation. The photos online glorify this property, but in reality it is extremely outdated, rundown, and does not live up to the word “resort.” It feels more like a low-end roadside motel with zero accountability for guest experience.
For the price paid, the condition of the rooms, and the lack of professionalism from both staff and management, this was an enormous disappointment. I will never return and would not recommend this property to anyone.
