Our newly renovated lake home is the perfect place for peaceful mornings and fun-filled days. Located only 25 minutes from Great Lakes Naval Station.

Relax and enjoy the lake view on the brick paver patio with firepit and gas grill, or on the deck down by the water. Outside fun includes a private pier with 2 available paddle boards, bags game in the large yard, or if you have a boat, you can drop it in at the nearby public beach (just a block away) and tie up at the dock.

Inside fun includes a ping-pong table, a poker table and chips, puzzles, board games, foosball, and a smart TV for streaming your favorite movies or shows.

The home has 2 full bathrooms and comfortably sleeps 8. The upstairs has 1 king room, 1 queen room, a bunk room and the lower level trundle bed sleeps 2.

Navy Bootcamp Graduation

My family of 6 enjoyed our three night stay at this home during our trip for my sons Navy Bootcamp Graduation. Its a warm and cozy home with a large main area (livingroom/kitchen) where we spent most of our day hanging out together with our new sailor. The lake view out the rear picture window was beautiful. Unfortunately North Chicago in the winter didn't really allow us to take full advantage of the patio and deck but my kids did have fun for a few hours playing on the frozen lake. I would image both deck and patio would be awsome the other 9-10 months of the year.The hosts were very responsive, informative and accommodating, getting back to my all questions within an hr.This was my 1st vrbo rental and it has been a very positive experience and will change the way we plan trips in the future.

Great house!

This was a perfect house for our family of 5. Our boys loved the foosball table. The heater was a bit slow at heating the house, even with two systems. But it was an exceptionally cold weekend. Would definitely recommend!

Brautiful Place

We were in town for our daughter's wedding and this was a perfect place for our needs. There was lots of open space for the bride and bridesmaides to gather and have their hair and makeup done. 5-Star Stay!!! Absolutely Fabulous!!

Our family highly recommends this stay!! The owners were extremely prompt, kind and courteous in all communications. The home is so beautiful and well stocked. The yard is very well manicured with a stunning view of the lake! It even contains a fenced in area on the top where the lovely patio is located. The water is very clear and the nice, public beach is only eight houses away. We would definitely book again!!

Relaxing vacation in beautiful home

When we walked in the door the house was immaculate. It was just as the description says. Furnishings and beds were very comfortable. We used the grill and the firepit. It had everything we needed to feel as if we were at home. The lake is at the bottom of the stairs. The paddle boards were fun and we were able to swim off the pier. The beach is a short walk away. On a rainy day we played ping pong and foosball. The owners thought of everything necessary to make their home fun for a family. When we had an illusive fly buzzing around us, I texted the owner to see if I could locate a fly swatter. The next day a package from Amazon had 2 fly swatters in it! Now that is going above and beyond. As we were leaving the cleaning crew were coming in, we had to commend them on how clean the house was when we arrived. All in all a wonderful vacation.

Amazing!

We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our relaxing girls weekend! We spent most of our time outside, enjoying the patio and views and floating in the lake. When we did venture inside it was great having a fully functioning kitchen, the beds were all comfy and the window in the living room was perfect for watching the storms at night.

Family visit in the burbs

This house is wonderful and well appointed. The backyard is picturesque. Everything was spotless and the host was very responsive. The kids loved the ping pong, foosball and plentiful board game. We will be back!

Exactly what we needed

We had a group of 9 stay (6 adults, 3 kids). Everyone had a clean, comfortable bed to sleep in and the spaces in the home were divided up well so that people could have separate hang out spaces. The communal areas were all big enough that we could all comfortably gather and spend time together. We arrived past dark for check-in, so the first morning we woke up and saw the view out the large picture window in the main room, we were amazed. It was a beautiful view of the lake. The back porch was perfect to relax and catch up with our friends. Everything was incredibly clean and the check-out duties were quick and easy. We’re grateful to have such a wonderful setting to reconnect and relax with friends!

Weekend family trip

We absolutely loved our family weekend getaway here! The house was spacious and comfortably slept all 10 of us with plenty of extra space. We had everything we needed then some. The best part of it was the backyard with lots of room to sit around and spend much needed time together with the lake as the perfect view. A Gem!!

This home is precious. We spent our holiday stay at this beautifully christmas decorated house. The home accommodations are extremely comfortable and spacious in every respect from cooking to sleeping. The backyard is incredible, I hope to return in the summer to take advantage of the lake. Lara is a very responsive host. We had an issue that Lara was able to resolve expeditiously. We will definitely be back!
