A great place to stay to explore Rotterdam

An excellent place to stay to explore Rotterdam. The central railway station is located only five minutes walk from the hotel. The Erasmusbrug ferry terminal is also accessible via a nice short walk from the hotel for the travelers who are interested in visiting Kinderdijk. The Weena tram stop is located right in front of the hotel as well. The room was spacious and the breakfast buffet was excellent.

Centrally located. Nice room and EXCELLENT breakfast. Only negative was the check in. We asked if we could change from 2 twins to a double and also didn’t need the parking but were told we couldn’t change what we had booked. Also, 2 of us in line waiting and front desk clerk kept taking phone calls instead of helping those of us in front of him.

The hotel room was fine and the breakfast was great. The ladies at the reception were helpful and very nice. What we did not like and we realize a city problem was the garbage outside your hotel. It does not give a good impression when you arrive. This was mostly birds eating garbage. Perhaps a larger container for garbage would help and the city could provide it. Remember first impressions are the lasting impressions.

The staff was fantastic! They gave us a good room and signed us up for IHG membership. The next day we woke very late and arrived at the breakfast area after it was finished. However, they bent over backwards to help us by bringing out rolls, croissants, cheese and meat. This was extra good service!

What not to like? Location, ease of checkin, friendly, happy and helpful staff, great breakfast, clean and modern rooms, good beds and very comfortable. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rotterdam - it’s a very good hotel choice for a great, modern city. Great value too.
