I was in a single room and it didn't cost much. It was fairly basic but had everything I needed and I was happy enough. What I really loved was the breakfast. It was top notch. I was travelling for business but am now thinking of returning to the area for a short break and another brilliant breakfast. I had a bit of spare time and took a walk in the lovely park just near the hotel, it was huge and very well maintained. I plan to return there with the kids. I had been worried about parking at the hotel as they only have a few spaces but there is a large car park just behind the hotel which was free after a certain time and seemed fairly reasonably priced for such a central location.

Staff were lovely breakfast was good but my only complaint would be that only one choice of yoghurt which was strawberry, maybe there could be some natural yoghurt also. Unfortunately when I was going to put my clothes into the drawer there was a half eaten sandwich in drawer. I advised the staff on reception.

Easy to find and plenty of parking. Staff were all very friendly and very helpful. Rooms were great. Full Scottish breakfast was delicious. There was some renovation work going on, but only within social hours. Excuse for my teenager to get up 😉

Recent visit

The warning about karoake on Saturday night is entirely true. As long as you don't plan to sleep before midnight on Saturday (I didn't), it works. All facilities perfectly acceptable. Location for the centre of Dunfermline is ideal.

Lovely hotel, we stayed for 2 days bars and restaurants very clean and tidy, staff were lovely food was beautiful, I had a roast beef dinner it was delicious, the room was spacious, bathroom was beautiful bed was massive and comfortable had a great night's sleep, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone stay in Dunfermline, we will definitely back

The hotel is perfectly located in city centre just a short walk from the entrance to beautiful Glen Park and Dunfermline Abbey closeby also large public car park immediately at back of hotel. Popular hotel so need to book ahead.

Common areas, bar/restaurant areas, our room, etc were all clean, in good condition. Nice and quiet. Very walkable. The bed was overly soft, bit of a sag. Bathroom lighting could be a bit harsh. Better breakfasts elsewhere, terrible drip coffee in restaurant. But cannot beat the location, right next to a truly gorgeous park. Staff were all very, very nice. Relaxing to have a pint in the bar in the evenings.

well maintained property. nice room, lovely bathroom. Good standard of cleanliness. Friendly staff. Noise from outside could be loud as our room looked onto a fairly busy road both traffic and pedestrian. Had our evening meals in hotel. good menu, fair price. Great location for attractions and bus station.
