Toilet Seat Broken In 2 Places, Too Hot , Hard Bed

We stopped at The Saskatoon Inn for nostalgic reasons having planned many large conferences there in the early 90’s. This used to be a premier hotel that was known for comfort and luxury. We pulled in very late ( about 10pm ) after a 11 hour car ride and were eager to stretch out and sleep. The nice young lady behind the desk said she would make sure we had a very comfortable room. When we got to our room it was boiling hot and really humid from the pool air. Pool humidity seemed to permeate every floor as we were on a high floor. It cooled a little by 6 am when we left, but not enough to sleep comfortably. We were so tired that it took us a little while to notice our toilet seat was cracked in two places as we had already changed into pjs and had been sleeping. I did not notify the front desk till we left in the morning as we didnt want to change rooms at midnight. Finally, our bed was so hard that we were both awake by 6am and decided to leave shortly after instead of sleeping a little more. I left this review with the unsympathetic front desk who said they would let the manager know…. never heard another word. That is the sad part - it would have been nice to be acknowledged but this lack of interest is a sure sign we wont come back PS i wish i had been smart enough to take a picture of the cracked toilet seat. The first was clearly visible on the left & the right had one of those sneaky ones that pinch your legs. It was a crime that housekeeping didn't get it fixed

Great value comfortable setting

Yeah, the location convenient to the freeway around town. The restaurant has good food. The breakfast that’s complementary is awesome and they gave us two vouchers for each night so it really was a good deal all in all we would definitely come back.
