A lovely stay, including a comfy bed and great breakfast.
We stayed for a lovely evening meal and enjoyed the IPA on tap.
Our little dog was warmly welcomed.
Would recommend.
Very enjoyable stay. Perfect location for cafes, restaurants and bars. Short walk to the river. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Parking was so handy. Very old building with uneven stairs (we were on the top floor) but we liked the character of the hotel. Shower was amazing and loved the toiletries provided. The breakfast was lovely - enjoyed fresh juice and croissants and then lots of choice for cooked breakfast too. Would return!
Welcoming & charming hotel right in the centre of Ross. Clean room with lovely crisp bed linen and fresh fluffy towels. Our room was quiet & cozy. Food was excellent and service friendly & efficient. Would definitely recommend
A lovely hotel in the centre of Ross, a nice comfortable room, the staff were very helpful and the food was very good, parking was available at the rear of the hotel and it’s dog friendly.
The hotel was fantastic the rooms were comfortable and clean breakfast was lovely we had 3 rooms and everyone really enjoyed it the only small inconvenience no lift and the stairs are very stiff but a small price to pay we would recommend this hotel to anyone and if we go to Ross again we will use it again excellent
Staff were excellent , breakfast equally good.
However, the hotel is old and tired and there should be a health warning in regard to the steep winding staircases.
The rooms could benefit from the addition of body lotion, tissues and a coffee maker.
The hotel has a good vibe and we would come back.
The staff were genuinely friendly, and keen to help with any request in a warm and intelligent way, however busy they were. The bar had good chairs for relaxing in with a book and a drink, and there was another room to sit in too. The bedroom was clean and the bed comfortable. A really excellent breakfast, with lovely croissants, or the full English, with vegetarian option. I hope I manage to stay here again!
It was fine. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
A mixed stay. The room was spacious but noisy unfortunately. We were above the bar and below another room. The floors were creaky and I woke up when the upstairs guest got up in the night and early morning. The bathroom was tired - the bath panel falling off. But the shower pressure was great. There were few places to hang wet towels (a few hooks would fix that) and the bed mattress felt old. It is a shame because the pub and restaurant are lovely, the food was great and the service was good. Parking was confusing - I filled in a form to reserve a spot but it was full and I ended up parking in another car park in town.
Very quirky and charming building stairs to access bedrooms would not be suitable for everyone. Staff on the whole were very pleasant and attentive. The entrance to the car park is quite narrow but it was great to have the option. The hotel is right on one of the main shopping streets with lots of lovely coffee shops and gift/antique shops. The breakfast was lovely with high quality ingredients.
