It is a romantic hill-top studio for 2-persons, with a gorgeous view of the lake & the Alps. This adorable studio has a spacious bedroom opening into a private balcony with the lake view in front. The studio has 1 bathroom, a decent eat-in kitchen with refrigerator & 2-cooking hot plates. The studio is surrounded by a beautiful garden with a panoramic view of the lake-Alps & a place for a romantic drink or dinner; space for cook-out & having a barbeque. The studio is situated in an exclusive & quite neighbourhood in the hills above Ascona. Within 10 min walking distance is a public park, a swimming pool, several hiking & mountain biking trails, many restaurants & grottos offering traditional Ticino specialities. A 15 minute drive takes you to Locarno, town of International Film Festival (in August), Ascona, & Cannobio (Italy) which has beautiful promenades, gardens, boutiques/shops along the lake & the old town, nice gardens & colourful open air shopping, & Boat to Island of Brissago.
Location, Surroundings & What to Do: The studio is situated in an exclusive & quite neighbourhood in the hills above Ascona (Ronco sopra Ascona). Within walking distance you’ll find a public park & a swimming pool for children, hiking trails for everyone, trails for mountain biking, & several restaurants with local specialities.
