WI-FI, AC, FANS, MICROW, DISHWASHER, WASHING MACHINE. Ideal for relaxation after a day of invigorating explorations in the art world of this mysterious and fascinating city.

This delightful house is on the third floor (no elevator) of a building from the beginning of the 20th century, just 5 minutes from the Colosseum, also known as the Flavio amphitheater and behind the Fori Imperiali, in the heart of ancient Rome. The apartment is 70 square meters, just renovated and consists of a cozy living room with sofa and armchairs and dining area with a table for 6 people, a double bedroom and a bedroom with two single beds, one of which, if necessary, can become a double, a full bathroom with shower and a well-equipped kitchen: four hotplates, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, and access to a small balcony from inside the courtyard with plants of asparagina to water , especially in the warmer months. Both for hot water and for heating there is an autonomous gas system. The apartment has AIR CONDITIONING, FANS, WASHING MACHINE and Wi-Fi.
Ideal for a family or a group of friends. Walking around the neighborhood is particularly fascinating and enjoyable because you will find it rich in artisans, boutiques and shops full of charm and personality.

Pros: This apartment is perfectly located in Monti. It is bright and airy, getting a lovely cross breeze with the windows open in the morning. Walk outside the building and you step right into shops and restaurants. Turn right and the Colosseum is in full view a few blocks away. After asking, the host arranged pickup for us at the airport which made for a stress free start. AC kept the place cool on scorching hot summer afternoons.Cons: Communication with the owner was a challenge. Responses to time sensitive questions were received days/weeks later. When we arrived for check-in, they had not begun cleaning the apartment yet, which took a couple hours and we were exhausted and wanted to come in and rest. This place wasn't well stocked. Nothing provided to wash your dishes in the sink. We used our hands. Laundry detergent bottle was empty. Overall it just wasn't set up well with everything we needed. Stairs. 70 of them. If you're fit, no problem, but if you're older or not in good shape, the many flights of stairs to get to the apartment will be a challenge, especially when you arrive with your luggage. Overall: For a short stay in a great location, this place is a win, and even though there were some issues, we would recommend this place and come stay again.

Wonderful location, we appreciated being near to a metro stop and walking distance to many sights. Adequate kitchen facilities, we cooked a number of times. Washer and drying rack were also well used by our little family. We really felt like we had a good amount of comfortable space to relax in after long days of walking. We could hear some noise at night due to the restaurant/bar below, but it was very reasonable considering the location. The stairs up aren't a huge problem, just make you earn that extra scoop of gelato ;)

Great place for a family stay

We had a great stay in this apartment. Our host, Constanza, let us in an hour early and gave us a warm welcome. She also worked quickly the next day to get the washer fixed so that we could do our laundry.The place is great for a family, with a room of three beds so that no one needed to share.The location is just 5 minutes from a subway stop and close to shops, food, and an outstanding gelateria. We were delighted.

Our family of five spent three nights in the apartment. We had a nice stay - the apartment was clean, warm and well stocked. The location of the apartment was really convenient - very near the coliseum with plenty of restaurants nearby. Constanza was really communicative but we didn't need anything during our stay. Great Location in Monti

This property is in a great location in Monti. It is two blocks from the Cavour metro stop so it is easy to get anywhere in Rome, and it is about a 10 minute walk from Termini station, if you want to go anywhere in Italy. You can see the Colosseum down the street from the building, and the forum/Capitoline Museum are a close walk. There are a number of excellent restaurants close by, as well as a grocery store, pharmacy and dry cleaner. The unit is comfortable, with plenty of space and is attractively furnished. If you are older, you should be warned you need to climb four flights of stairs. Costanza was a helpful hostess, she gave us restaurant recommendations and she helped resolve any issues we had with the unit. I would come back here in a future trip to Rome!

Perfect location for visiting Rome. For the price there is soem things need improvement. Some of the sheets had stains. Towels had a very funky smell to them that we had to wash them before we used them. Also there are lots of noice till 12am if not nore from restaurant.restaurant

Great stay in a clean apartment, very good location. The apartment was as advertized. Small kitchen, ( we didnt cook) tiny washing machine ...but it did the job. The location was awesome. Within walking distance of all major attractions

Great location close to Colosseum and all major attractions

Great location close to Colosseum and all major attractions. We did not use parking for the car as it is extremely difficult to find the spot ( so rent after you finish your Rome visit. 15 min walk to train station to rent a car ( very convenient). Clean place good for family of 4 or 5 it do not expect to much space as this is old Rome. Host was waiting for us at the front door and instantly helps us with checking in and that was great help. Host helped us arrange transportation from airport and it is worth after long flight and when heat of 35c hits you. Over all I would recommend this place any time! We have a great stay.!

Fantastic location

The location of this property is perfect if you are interested in the historic center of Rome. It suited our family of 4 very well. The Colosseum is literally less than 10 minutes walk away as is the Roman forum. The property was light and airy. The beds were comfy as was the couch. It had a nice feel. Constanza was a lovely and attentive host. She was particularly helpful re directions from the airport. A couple of small things could be improved but this is me being a little picky. There was no oven in the kitchen and it was small so if you were planning to cook it could be challenging. It could be noisy at night in the main bedroom because it sits above a restaurant.

Rome trip with family

Fantastic apartment in a really excellent location. The apartment was light and airy and had everything needed for a fantastic stay. All major sights close by and very convenient to metro and termini. Vibrant streets surrounding with easy access to supermarkets etc. Costanza was fantastic and very informative about the local areas and Rome in general. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Rome!

We stayed at this property for 5 days while in Rome. We love having a delicious restaurant downstairs, and other restaurants and grocery nearby. Upon check in we got a map and lots of helpful info. However, a few nights it was very loud in the front room, so just know that if you are a light sleeper. The kids had 3 beds in the backside, so had very little noise. It was a very comfortable and convenient place to stay! The washing machine was out of order, but the host kindly did a load for me in another apartment she had.

Perfect!!

Perfect appartment for 3 friends to share for a weekend of sightseeing & exploring Rome. Great location to base yourself from, not far at all from the Colesseum and easy to get everywhere really! Check the map for locations as some things are a bit of a walk (but would be the same if you stayed in the other side to get here!) Appartment was perfectly equipped, spacious and lovely!! Room to relax in the lounge & all other areas too!! Not noisy at night at all! I’d definitely stay here again!

A Wonderful Stay in Rome!

We traveled to Rome as a family of four, two adults and two teens. We really enjoyed staying at the location. It was perfect for us as a family of four, with the adults in one room and the children sharing the other room. The Monti location is very centrally located in Rome and has lots of vintage shopping and restaurants. There was a nice bar across the street that had one of the best expresso's that I had in Italy, and I had many. The Coliseum is a short distance away, and we really enjoyed taking a walk every night after dinner to see it at nighttime. Communication with the owner was easy and terrific. Our highest recommendation.
