Very good hotel with free laundry room, a section with pool and ping pong tables. Restaurant was actually good. Also there is a walking section with lounge tables that was nice Felt safe in the hotel. Only drawback is the area around the hotel is not nice so we usually took taxis. However I recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay at The Social Hub, hotel was beautifully decorated and very clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Lots of outdoor space to sit and have a drink in the sun, along with a roof top pool and bar area. Location is a little out of the way from the tourist sites, but there are two tram lines/stops within a 2 minutes walk which is helpful, and a metro stop about 15 minute walk away so the main sites are easy to get to. Rooms are a good size and beds are very comfy, air con was appreciated in this summer heat! Food eat the restaurant and bar was nice quality, with good breakfast options. There is a pizza restaurant on site too which was great! Would definitely stay at The Social Hub again!

Staff and service was pretty good, there was a bit of a language barrier but ofc I can’t blame them for that (I’m visiting the country so I should know how to communicate!) the room was dusty when we first entered, toiletries were low and the room was hot! Had to ask one of the people working at the front desk to turn the ac temp down and fan high because it was stuck on automatic - but still it was very very hot! Hallways and overall building amenities could be cleaner. There’s a lack of restaurants around the area and the restaurants in the hotel are alright. Another important thing they need is a shuttle from the airport and the train station!! The area is a little inconvenient and seems unsafe so the shuttle is very important.

Unfortunately, the TV in the room did not support Netflix or other common streaming services, which made it difficult to unwind as I normally would. I ended up purchasing a Chromecast to work around this, but it did make the room feel a bit too quiet and less relaxing than I had hoped.

The overall experience was amazing — the staff were friendly and attentive, the food was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable. Everything felt welcoming and well-managed. Special shoutout to Federico, the bartender with dreads — incredibly nice, welcoming, and made some great drinks. He really added to the atmosphere and overall vibe. The only downsides were the limited payment option (card only), which might be inconvenient for some, and the overpriced taxi to the Colosseum — paying €27–30 for a 2.7-mile, 9–10 minute ride felt a bit unreasonable. That said, it was still a fantastic stay.

Rome's best kept secret

It is exactly what you want when traveling, especially while working. Location is not a typical tourist location but has some really good bars and restaurants near it. The property grounds however are next level and have everything you need and more. It is so good that i rebooked it straight away when my flight was canceled as opposed to staying anywhere else. Staff are also so friendly and the rooftop pool is good.
