The location is deceiving because when you hear the word Marriott Rome Park Hotel you assume that it is in the heart of Rome. It’s nearly one hour away from the centre city and it is not accessible at all. Sure you can pay for a taxi ride that would cost you close to 35 euros. You can also take the hotel shuttle bus for a return price of 18 euros but it operates very specific times and the drop off location is not very accessible. The other issue was our bathroom was dirty and when I addressed to the front desk and shared pictures the front desk staff were very passive and did not offer a new room or have housekeeping come and clean it. Instead I had to walk 17 minutes to a local grocery store and buying cleaning products to clean the room. How crazy is that. Do they have a nice outdoor pool yes. It has a resort feel but makes sense when the hotel is not in the heart of Rome. The onsite Resturant and the only one to dine at is over priced. Unless you walk offsite for 20 minutes and there is a local bakery and pizza Resturant where the locals eat. The only reason why this hotel has foot traffic is it appeals To large organized tour groups and the local Italians whose the pool. Also we trust the Marriott brand but not for this property. You could not pay me to stay there.

This place was so bad, that it actually made me laugh. Staff were very polite and helpful, but check-in took absolutely ages. Not their fault as they were clearly understaffed and dealing with a lot of other issues. The rooms seem to have been styled in a “tower of terror” theme. Wallpaper peeling off the walls. Garish carpets. Dated bathrooms. The place hasn’t been touched or refurbed in years. Don’t bother with the executive lounge. This is where I really started laughing. The chairs had no filling and the supports on them had buckled. You literally fell through them. Stayed here to be close to the airport, but it’s not really all that convenient for there either. I’d recommend looking elsewhere

The hotel is beautiful and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Transportation to the airport was efficient and convenient. The only complaint I have is the ac was blowing out warm air and it was too hot in our room. The front desk said they can fix it remotely but it was still hot. Other than that, the pool was beautiful, clean and refreshing.
