The penthouse is distributed in 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and a bathroom, the other is a living room with a kitchenette and a sofa bed. All around there is a panoramic terrace overlooking Rome. It is possible to eat outside with the barbecue. On the terrace there are play equipment for children and adults, such as table football. Outside there is a sink and a shower. Hammocks and sun beds are offered for sunbathing.

The apartment is distributed over two bedrooms, one with a bathroom and a living room with kitchenette, the sofa bed, is comfortable and spacious. In the center a large entrance allows you to have breakfast. All around, it is surrounded by a revolving terrace and offers a view from the Castelli Romani to Montemario, passing through views of the beauty of Roman roofs.

An impeccable panorama of the eternal city will leave you breathless.

The penthouse is located and just a few minutes walk from the Basilica of San Giovanni and the Scala Santa. Colosseum, Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia, are very close.

The neighborhood is very central, offering a very commercial street like the new Via Appia, and excellent connections to the historic center. There are many restaurants of various ethnic groups, pubs, pharmacies, cinemas and anything else you need. A grocery is just below the ground floor of the building.
San Giovanni is one of the most populated districts of Rome, characterized by the Lateran Palace and the famous Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano.
Area known throughout Italy because in the main square in front of the basilica, every first May, the famous concert is held, which sees on the stage a large number of Italian and foreign musical groups.
Next to the basilica is the Scala Santa, which according to tradition is composed of the 28 steps that would be those traveled by Jesus to go to Pontius Pilate. On the top of the staircase is the chapel called Sancta Sanctorum which houses some of the most important Christian relics.


Connections with stations and airports are excellent, as well as subways and buses.

Incredible terrace

My family absolutely loved this apartment. We had already been travelling for over a week and had stayed in many other apartments along the way, and this was our hands down favourite. The terrace is a dream. We were in Rome during a heat wave, so we would go sightseeing in the morning, then back to this quieter neighbourhood to cool off in the outdoor shower and siesta on the terrace until dinner when everything was cooler. The apartment itself was well appointed. We needed to use the laundry and Elisabetta provided us with soap. She was impressively responsive to any request that we had. She made us feel welcome upon arriving and cared for throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place. We honestly didn’t want to leave.

Beautiful place to stay in Rome!

I loved this unit - it has a huge terrace that overlooks Rome in all directions! I had everything I needed, including a kitchen, large refrigerator, hot shower, clothes washing machine, and a hair dryer. Plenty of space for my clothes! I took the Metro most places and there were two stations located conveniently nearby. The host was phenomenal, including a bottle of wine on arrival! Highly recommend!

Our Roman Engagement

Elisabetta was incredibly communicative. She gave us numerous recommendations that we utilized during our stay. Dar Bruttone was our favorite neighborhood restaurant by far. I had a surprise proposal planned for my girlfriend during our stay here and this property was a wonderful way to celebrate that. Emilia the cleaner even gave us an umbrella as a gift when she saw we didn’t have one and it was pouring on the last day. We would absolutely come back.

A great quiet neighborhood

We had a great time staying at Elizabetta’s property. The neighborhood and building are quiet with a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. Access to the train and metro make getting around to see the sites easy and convenient.

A fantastic place to stay

This is a gem of a VRBO! On the top of the building private courtyard and space has 360 degrees view of Rome. With easy access to all the sights and places to visit this makes for an ideal location. Elizabetta makes it easy with recommendations to eat, and there are some amazing restaurants, and is the perfect host. We would have given 10 stars is we could have!

Stunning views of the city!

The location of this home is absolutely breathtaking! It is located on the 10th floor and is the penthouse suite. You have an enormous wrap around patio that gives you full views of every part of Rome. Elisabetta was very thorough in explaining the home, and great with quick communication. The home was exactly as advertised, very functional and clean. We 100% would rent this home again and would recommend to all our friends and family! Thank you!

Nice but, Deceptive and Incomplete Description

The listing stated a hot tub was included on the roof deck when in fact, there was not. The owner looked puzzled when I asked after a long trip and a day of high summer temperatures. She then said, “the picine? and went to a closet and pulled out two 6’0” diameter kiddie pools and decided to fill one with a hose. She left and asked me to shut the hose off when it was full. I really couldn’t believe it. The pool leaked and in 5 hours was empty. It also should be noted that after ascending 9 floors by elevator, you have to travel up another flight of stairs to get to the penthouse on the 10th floor. An additional city room tax of $20.00 was requested by the owner that I paid via PayPal. These issues, in my view, constituted deceptive or incomplete advertising.

Great little Flat in a non-touristy part of town. We stayed here for three day in July, the location was perfect for us, a quick train ride from all the madness of Rome yet close enough to be in the middle of it all. Host is a great communicator.

Had a great experience staying here. The host was so sweet and even got us laundry detergent. The location is outside of the center but still close enough to easily get to various locations. If taking a cab, roughly 20 min from all major tourist stops.

Very nice apartment and view from roof

This apartment is very spacious, well furnished, comfortable, and clean. Our host, Elisabetta, had great communication with us. It is located about a 7 or 8 minute walk to the metro and 4 or 5 minutes from the train station. The view from the rooftop is incredible, but it is not in very nice condition. It wasn't very clean and there was no umbrella. The vegatation from the rooftop planters did not match the pictures (we visited in early June). For us, it didn't create the atmosphere where you wanted to sit and have a drink as we anticipated based upon the photos. We also didn't have water pressure until the afternoon prior to our departure, so we had to take a very cold "camp style shower" for the first three days at the property (the small dribble of water was cold and I assume it was because it didn't accumlate enough water pressure for the water heater to heat the water). It was explained to us this impacted all of the local neighborhood. Elisabetta was in constant communicaition with us trying to resolve the issue and ultimately hired a local plumber to create a temporary solution for us, so we didn't allow this to have a significant impact on our rating. From the beginning, Elisabetta was up front when we checked in and left us 6 large bottles of water and a very lovely bottle of wine. Despite the challenges from the water pressure we enjoyed our stay and the surrounding area.

This was a great property away from the busy tourist area. It was close to the train station for traveling into the heart of Rome for sight seeing. The property was clean, and a great place to relax after a long day of walking the city. Wonderful experience

My wife and I spent her 70th birthday in Rome. Our place was everything described. Clean, well equipped for cooking breakfast (or other meals had we chosen). Elizabetta met us and gave an overview of the place (even a bottle of wine awaited us). She had great suggestions as where to eat and explained the metro. Entire place was renovated and nicer than most vrbos weve stayed at. Metro and trains only couple blocks away. Elisabetta was open to us staying a bit longer since our train wasnt until noon. We both recommend her place and should we ever return to Rome we would consider staying there again.
